- Hi everyone - I thought it would be nice for you to meet some of my artist friends that were taking part in this year's Krowji Christmas Open Studios. They were kind enough to let us have a look into their studios (often whilst setting up!).
Studio visits are great fun. It's a great way to meet other artists and see what they have been working on recently.
I hope you enjoy meeting them - there were many more artists taking part that I didn't have time to visit. The event took place on 1,2,3 December 2023.
Artists in the video were (in order of viewing) :
Marie Magor, Alison Bick, Neil Thomas, Trudie Moore, Sophie Carter, Sarah Cooling, Vanessa Penrose, Caz (Love Tree Designs), Becky Mayes and yours truly (me).

What a fabulous building and full of so many creative people, I wish I lived close enough to visit this it looks amazing, thanks for sharing this Andrew I hope you all have lots of sales.

Hi Andrew. A brilliant tour around Krowji highlighting a lot of creative talent. Enjoyed our visit to your studio and a chat. Particularly liked the small painting of 'Dollar Cove'. Two hungry horses in a muddy field prevented digging for those dollars. Wishing you a speedy recovery on your fingers. Cheers.

Hi Andrew. I've watched this video several times. Loved getting a glimpse of your work space and meeting a few of your creative friends at Krowji Studios. Fantastic artistic center! What a great variety of styles and media.
Sorry about your injured fingers. It's unnerving the thought of the damage the frame cutting tool could do. I hope they heal quickly and completely!!

What a awesome place, I live in a big and rubbish city called Peterborough. We have nothing like this.
That’s a shame. Our arts studio centre is a great place for artists and makers of all disciplines to work together. Redruth is developing several other projects like this. You should move here 😃
Hi Andrew ... this is a nice showing of the artists and their studios ... those abstract paintings were quite wonderful ... it always amazes me how creativity can be created and expressed in so many unique and different ways ... hope you do well and make some sales! Hey maybe even a commission that would be great! Basil needs a Santa hat to greet the people for the holidays ...⛄

How wonderful to have that great building for all of you to have a show in!!! I had a piece in a city gallery and the experience was not worth having it there - so much pretention and such a lot of 'political' type restrictions plus the money taken by the gallery on the sale of your work..... I never applied to a gallery group show again, but this where just artists have their own space in a building is brilliant and much more creative! how did you all happen to get together to arrange it? did you all chip in for rent on the building? its great... love your work as usual!! Oh wait, this is the building where your studio is? how cool! do you each pay rent on your room then? its so excellent! I like how there are all styles and all abilities and lots of divesity, just wonderful! maybe next time though, just pan with the camera slower so we dont get dizzy watching!! Hi Basil!

OMG Did you cut your fingers on the Morso? 😨 Scary! Really enjoyed the tour! How do I get a Neil Arts mug? Loved that!
Yes it was the Morso- when I was cleaning it!
I can get Neil to send you a mug if you want one? He sells them for £10 each
So glad the cut wasn’t as near as bad as it could have been seeing as you still have fingers attached! Yes, I’d love to support Neil and wish it could be more than buying a mug. But he could send one to my mother in law in Cambridgeshire and we can figure out a way to get it all paid for. If he uses WhatsApp he can reach me quite easily. How to move forward? No hurry as she’s flying here Wednesday morning. One of us will be back in England in the spring and could pick it up then.
