best tip was just to send it
Absolutely Alexander, gotta commit to learning it 100% 🤘🏼
Iko bie sna go on bro
I have a SENT IT sticker on my bike, and I don t even ride this hard.
just learned to pull up barspin today, i’ve been at it for like 3 days. The reason i couldn’t do it is becuase i was too scared just to throw the bars, then i just finally manned up and threw them. now i’m working on hop bars
That's what I'm talking about! Good stuff! 👊🏼
Yo i legit just got these! So stoked
I loved this video, I'm gonna start trying with your tips tomorrow, thank you for putting this together. I hope you are well.
You're welcome! Persistence and commitment. Go get some 💪🏼
sick dude. this is the next trick I wanna learn and ur tips are so useful. keep shredding dude🤟🤙
Dawg I felt your excitement. Still workin on them myself. Grass looks nice lol
Pro tip: hop higher and throw the bars at the highest point in the jump. This will result in the bike being more stable thus resulting in a faster and more consistent barspin.
Thank you! Yes, I mentioned that I need to work that at the end of video
@@DrShredder Oh sorry, I didn´t realize you did, but you should only be pinching the seat from right before you throw the bars, not through the whole bunny hop
@@camperhonsa8633 Right on, thank you 🤙🏼
@@DrShredder your bike has the same spec as matt jones?
Yes very similar
dude your reaction, full stoaked on that, great vid too, this is my next learn, have subscribed 👍🏻👌🏻✌🏻
100% stoked when I landed my 1st one 🤘🏼 Thanks for following along!
Wow, thanks man, i just landed my first barspin today. i did it within 2 hours. These tips really helped. i have had previous barspin practice, but only one other time of actual attempts with jumping, and not manual. u just earned a sub. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Heck yeah, congratulations on the new learn! Glad you got something from the video
Just bought my first jumper. Skater background lol. This video is very helpful and inspiring bro!! Thank you for sharing this!!
That's sick! You're welcome 👊🏼 Have a blast!!
I really think the key here is practice you seemed so surprised but if your practicing 30 min to an hour a day your going to make progress! Super helpful video I really want to learn harder tricks such as this at my local jumps. Thanks great video!
100%! As with everything, practice is 🔑. I'm stoked this video was helpful for you 🤘🏼
Thanks man, got it in 3 days thanks to your tutorial, it was much harder on a full suspension jump bike but doable
Nice work! I'm glad it helped 👊🏼
keep pinching with your knees! it will help you once you want to barspin a jump!
nice one mate. im also learning to bar spin myself. good work. hope i can get it too .. thanks
Man you figured it out fast. It took me a lot longer on a 20 inch to get where you are. Once I got a Dj years ago it was easier but the first one felt like winning a small lottery.
Thanks Harry! It definitely did feel like winning a small lottery 😂
Thanks for the video very helpful
You're welcome!
bets tip id say, other than hopping higher, is get your catching hand in position. if you are throwing with your left hand, you should be catching with your right. a saw you were trying to catch with you left, and your right wasnt making it back on the bars sometimes
You should release your non throwing hand and pull it out of the way once you throw the bars. You're kind of doing an x-up but releasing the bar instead of bringing them back to center. You'll be able to throw them faster, and be able to throw at a higher point in your jump making you more stable
Edit: just realized this video was from 2 years ago. You've probably gotten great at them by now, but leaving this comment for others
Wow that was a great practice, ride safe
Thank you!
you learned fast 🙀 good video too
Thanks!
Nice bike🤙
Thanks ✌
How did you prevent from hurting inner knee when pinching🥲?
Good guide fo r beginers. 😄
Glad you think so!
Try putting the saddle up again and using your knees to pinch it makes it much easier to bar when your knees are clamped and further back
I got a proper DJ saddle (and got rid of the temporary, railed, kids saddle) so I can pinch with my knees now, thanks. It was very uncomfortable with the other saddle
I’m new to all this but I just too the rear brake off my dj for barspins but when I do spin the bars the brake locks up I’m thinking I just need longer cables but I’m not sure (I have cables brakes not hydraulic)
im gunna try!! ill vlog the whole way too!! i can not barspin AT ALL rn!! subscribe and stay tuned haha
I sent a bar spin off a real jump today. It was a step up jump and I never got it. I only got halfway around and then was forced to bail. But this vid, I think it will help me
Nice Jackson! It's all about reps 💪🏼
Great video. Is yours the smaller frame? I was going to buy one but that toe clipping worries me
I appreciate it! I actually bought it a few years ago when there was only one size size frame
@@DrShredder ah cool. I wonder if the new Large has full clearance. Seems the perfect full build for the price
sick vid what is the length of your bars
Glad you enjoyed it! Bars are ~715mm
Great video!
But actually getting Bunny Hop Bar Spin every try, takes longer than 7 days, it took me 1 year, but now I can do Bunny Hop Barspin in both directions 😊
Glad you liked the video! Absolutely, becoming proficient and consistent will take a while. Congrats on nailing down bunny hop barspins 🤘🏼
Of cause the day I decide to practice is 38c or 101f
how to convert hub
What size is this bike ? I see tthe new 2022 mondel comes in two size Medium and Long.
Only 1 size for this edition
Hey , are you running the long version of the frame or the shorter one
When I got the bike there was only one version of the frame
@@DrShredder ok..
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah
Nice 💥
Thanks 🔥
@@DrShredder Your welcome 😁
Nice🤘
Thanks 🔥
@@DrShredder You're welcome bro!
Can you do a bunny hob tuto ?
Watch my latest video with Kelly Jones. I go over bunny hop basics 🤙🏼 czcams.com/video/8qk_IHRuO9w/video.html
How tall r u just wondering too we if the bike will be too big for me
5'9" 🤙🏼
👍
🤙🏼
Did you ever switch to a gyro?
Nah
Learn it fly out first makes it so much easier landing them smoothly flat, and also don't just pass the bars throw them like a punch, also learning pull up bars and carrying on Manueling helps alot with catching them right once u can do that just throw them hard and jump high
Thanks for the tips!
Dude I’m trying to learn too. What width bars do you have? I got 780 on my dj and it keeps hitting my knees. Debating on cutting it down
My bars started out about that length then I just kept cutting them down until they felt comfortable; they're at ~715mm now. Good luck learning barspins!!
knockblock moment
How long is your bar i need it for my Dirt jumper
I think it's like 715 mm. I basically started cutting it down until it felt right to me
When throwing the bars take you hand off as soon as possible keeping both hands on slows the rotation alot
but he was doing bus driver, so the technique is to guide the bars around basically keeping one hand touching at all times
@@korbiencracknell438 yeah I still mean that u just have to spin them hard, the main thing that slows u down is holding the bar too long slows u down alot
If you see this comment please tell me what length your bars are because I keep hitting my knees with my bars Great video tho thanks.
I don't know off hand. I just kept cutting them down til they felt comfortable
how did you commit? I cant
It’s tough man; you just have to accept the potential consequences and go for it
Just SEND IT.
Turning your brain off might be a way.
I want to do 180, so I am weak.
how many cm is your bars?
Bars are ~715mm
I cant even manual barspin
I would suggest wearing a helmet 👍
I was not concerned about head trauma while going 1 mph in the grass. And notice how I wore a helmet on the street. Thanks for the suggestion 👍🏼
you mean pull up bar
Exactly
