I Say Old chap! What a transmission! You captured the vibe beautifully so much so that one just might jolly well believe that they were there with you behindenemylines. I wouldn't trust that Chap dressed In Home Guard outfit... Looks like an impostor to me. Anyway ruddy good show! Must dash, enemy aircraft spotted on our radar and mast get our boys in the air! Yes it was promoted via the Facebook group hence there wasn't any public information about it, be sure to join the group as we're all keeping our fingers crossed they run it again next year as the venue was one of the best i've been to in the UK ~Peace~

Good to see. To that gent at the end making brain-tan, I'd remind him that stiff is good depending on the application. The "guru" who taught me insisted that the only good brain-tan had to be buttery soft, but then I'd see him with his breeches stretched at the knees and the straps on his bags an extra foot long under a load. Why? Because super-soft isn't good for a lot of things. While different animal hides give you different results, some being tougher than others, you can also play around with the suppleness (or lack thereof) on any hide. Let it go a bit stiff. Smoke it deep deep deep. And then use that for something like the body of a coat or the legs of some britches, or straps to hold a bag. The stiffness actually helps with the end product.
