ABOUT KEVIN CHAPMAN
Hi, I'm Kevin Chapman, a full-time CZcamsr, author, podcaster, speaker and occasional teacher from Peterborough, UK. As part of my daily vlog I release new videos every day at 5pm UK time with topics including life as an autism family, conventions and geek culture, technology, education and tutorials and entrepreneurship.
When I left my full-time as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, my partner, Anna, was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw me because I was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today I'm a full-time content creator who's always at home when my kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs.

Kevin, did you ever think about recording a morning of Andy’s usual tv programmes just to play in case of the Grand Prix or any other changes in scheduling? Just a suggestion! I watch you everyday but I think this is my first comment! You are fab, keep doing what you’re doing!

Me and Andy are very similar I am 14 too and go to bed between 8:30 and 9 then wake up at 5:30. Teeth cleaning can be a challenge and I always need to leave at the same time everyday to cope with the day. I have Asperger's syndrome
At approx. 8:54 Kevin asked Dave: "Have you been missing me?"and Andy replied "Yes". Interesting if he replied about Dave or about himself?

Aww, I loved it! I cannot believe this video was more requested than I thought! Andy looks so happy for it being like early in the morning! It also sounds like his voice is getting lower too, he is growing up! I hoped he had a great Monday and day of school! LOL Dave wants his close-up too! He totally reminds me of my dog! I was also wondering does he ever sing lyrics to songs (that actually have words in them 😆) or just hums them also? That is also progress regarding the teeth brushing and drinking water! I am so proud of him! You are doing a fantastic job with him, Kevin! Lovely video! Positive thoughts and vibes from the U.S.! ❤️💙

I’m 19 and autistic and I still struggle to brush my teeth for the full 2 minutes and never manage it and I also have to use kids fruity toothpaste as mint makes my mouth feel like it’s burning.

I’m 14 and I get around 4-5 hours sleep so he’s doing well 😂😂

Solid morning routine
I also have a routine in the mornings and of an evening too which i follow rigidly too! Normal for me and has been the case since i was alot younger! Im an adult going throught the process of getting diagnosed with autism! Phase 1 complete the GP referral has been sorted

wake up at 7
have my breakfast normally 2 croissants with cheese on the side
get changed into school uniform or pe kit on depending on the day
turn on millkshake on channel 5 yes im 16 and i still watch it
i would know that i have to leave to school peppa pig starts

Evening young kev. Hope you have had a good day. You don’t have to worry about disrupting that tv program routine for the paras for a wee while as The nxt Paralympic Games are Tokyo and will be 25 August- 06 September 2020 and will be broadcast on C4(as the BBC no longer own the rights to air the paras) they are 8hrs ahead of us so I’m not sure on the impact that will have on C4 morning broadcasts. It was interesting to see Andys morning routine. Do you think him not liking having his teeth brushed is a sensory issue? Cos as you no I’m an adult with ASD and I will be honest and say I dread brushing my teeth. Cos I hate the sensation and all the sound. It always puts me slightly on edge. I’m nearly 25 (my birthday is on Saturday) and I go to bed at 9pm every night.

I have a question, if there's a change in the schedule (like sport etc) could you put on a playlist of recorded videos which are the same as his normal routine (Everybody Loves Raymond with adverts etc) or would Andy realise that it isn't the same and not be happy with it?

Hay I'm new around here and curious about Andy and GCSE and how it works and what subject he does
If he's like my brother, he won't have the patience or sometimes understanding to do gcses
Kev and anna are waiting till he is ready to do his gcse as of now he shows more interest in different things but as specifically there is no age that u have to do them so he can do them at any age

The views figure isn't always accurate, sometimes it bounces around before settling to a more accurate number after a couple of hours.
Why does andy not spit the water out when he brushes his teeth?
He probably doesnt know better and its not going to hurt him plus he's drinking water which kev loves

With some tooth paste you can swallow them its usually for children with special needs earthtoothpaste would be one 😊

With the amount of salt and vinegar crisps Andy eats I find that they affect your lips in a stinging way so my question is does Andy ever show emotions towards this if it occurs to happen when he eats salt and vinegar walkers crisps

Why does Andy drink down his toothpaste?
Its common for autistc to strugel cleaning teeth. I dont like the tast of the tooth past. Andy is realy coming a long realy well .
yh, its weird for me cuz i physicaly know how 2 and can but like mentally its like nopeeee and its a really tricky thing for me to deal with 💁im also autistic btw 💁
