I WAS gonna get nitpicky about some of the details and methods, but then I remembered that this is a budget prop that came out looking beast as hell for the cost. SO, scratch that. Looks boss man.

Whereas I've never made a bow before I can imagine you could do the centre piece out of PVC piping and then the limbs of the bow with more PVC piping in the x sort of shape his bow is, and then build up the limbs with foam blocks carved into shape. As for stringing it (does it even have a string I swear it's magic?) I have no idea.
This looks amazing. Could y'all do some smaller builds- like the Magnum from Halo or the pipe shotgun from Mad Max? I'm sure there's many people who would like to start with a smaller build straight off the bat. Thanks!
is not that hard just need to be creative and do it with the tools and materials he used to make this gun
For Magnum just do what I'm doing: buy the boomco nerf version and paint it. I'm going to paint it so it still works XD
This guys techniques are so awesome, also way more exiting then the stuff the other guy used too do (mostly duckttape and cardboard...)
This guy is more my style. I was worried till he did the hole punch rivets. That's when I knew he was a true low budget pro.
because dustin is real DIY,ducktape and hotglue is the one that everybody have in home.
plus this guy techniques sometimes too difficult ,and the tools even expensive in my country so i cant even say this is DIY prop anymore,if this is replica prop build series then its awesome but if this DIY? umm not imo.

the foam is a lot better than the cardboard I've seen in previous builds...
+TwiztidMaGiC Foam is certainly a bit easier on the eyes, but the cardboard is more readily available for a cheaper budget. Either way is good depending on how far you want to go.

+Mateo Gonzalez not all foam there are very durable foams one example is Eva foam used for cosplay armors like odst armor made by DaFrontlineTrooper

still more than the entire build he has now
30$ for less than half of the gun is more than the entire build with the prices that were in the video with the nerf rapid strike it would of come to 42.50$ which is nearly double the price.... hate people who comment these things before they watch the end anything related to that pisses me off, the cost of his was version which looks almost identical to the real lancer was 25$

unless you can definitively say fantasy blaster rifles use magazines instead of clips, and accurately articulate fantasy firearm nomenclature, everyone will still think you’re pedantic. And annoying.

1:27 - there is foam like that in my local craft store. they charge about 5 dollar for one A4-sized sheet.
+bummer6 Buy materials from Amazon for a much cheaper price. Downside is that you have to buy it in packs instead of single sheets.
