Does the Claw LMG always have a janky firerate? Because it'll fire at a steady rate, stop up, and then fire at a faster rate and back at the slow rate.
It kinda "overheats", then you have to let to go of the trigger, then fire it again for a more consistent shooting.
@@Hectorlo Oh, okay. I always thought because it's an improvised weapon built by the Swarm, it jams up every few seconds due to messed-up internals.

I just noticed the Custom Lancer holds 50 rounds where as the other 2 models only hold 30.

Here are some tips about guns in gears 4 & 5: overkill, shock enforcer, embar, gnasher, & retro lancer are great against regular & corrupted DeeBee's whereas any gun is great against the Swarm, flesh & metal you know.
The talon pistol reminds me of the pistol locust kantus used in the earlier games starting from gears 2

There’s a rare reload for the GL lancer that wasn’t included. Wasn’t sure if you were including stuff like that as well so I thought I’d let you know. It reloads the magazine as well as the noob tube. Not sure how to consistently get it but I know it’s there

naxo 151 Actually, the original lancer have 60 bullets, in gears of war 2 got the lancer with 50 but in gears of war 3 came back the og lancer.
At least you can head shot with the lancer, but nothing will beat unloading 60 rounds into grubs
Professor Games you can technically headshot with every weapon if you’re talking about critical hits. But arcade is the only game mode where you can get a headshot with the lancer

You do know the custom lancer is the MK.3 lancer right? Lancer GL is a subclass.

Something that really irks me is the fact the Relic lancer uses the model of the Custom lancer/Mk3.

i dont get why they got rid of the scorcher or digger
From a lore perspective, immulsion is gone so Scorcher doesn't have a fuel source, and Digger species has gone extinct following the end of Gears 3.
From a gameplay perspective, I suppose the Scorcher's relative lack of popularity and the introduction of the Dropshot and now Lancer GL has removed the Digger's niche. Cryo Cannon has sort of done the same thing against the Scorcher.
I personally think they should bring back every old weapon and perform some slight functional modifications to give them a new niche. Having the Digger now launch your grenade supply over long distance and embed it in walls would be a cool niche for example. Such as loading a Frag Grenade into it and being able to plant it on a wall like a mine from a distance. Maybe give it some ink-based ammo by default (if you have no grenades to load) to replace the lost ink grenade.
As much as I HATED "Gears 5," I hope they bring this version of the Retro Lancer and Hammerburst to "Gears Of War: E-Day."
The "Custom Lancer" is what the Mk2 Lancer SHOULD'VE looked like from the very begining, when the first Gears of War game came out in 2006. I've always hated how the Mk 2 Lancer lacked a buttstock (rectified in GOW4), & lacked an ejection port (rectified in GOW4, but in the WRONG AREA). Just like with the Mk 1 "Retro Lancer", The Coalition managed to mess this one up too!! The gun has its ejection port pushed so far back to the rear, that it would never function correctly!!

I think they ruined the guns the lancer most of all I'm glad the tactical Lancer sounds different and now the longshots worse I loved hearing the bullet drop and now the torque bow come on and the boomshot I saw this coming from the hammer of dawn in gears 4

The animation for how Characters hold pistols is different, they don't hold them one handed, and they have a different sprint animation
