just wondering does taking the dB killers out affect the performance?

+Dave Almeida Great choice, it does sound better in real life doesnt it?! It affects the performance a bit actually, when you pull of in first gear without db killers the front wheel will lift up on power. With DB killers in it will stay on the ground. I didnt installed a power commander. You can however change the mapping to the TOR open exhaust mapping. You can do this yourself or ask the dealer to do it for you. It's a standard mapping from Triumph.

Exhausts can very so much from bike to bike. I'm very particular with what brands I like on what bikes lol.
Try a Bodis exhaust, it's a german brand. The daytona in this clip is mine and it sounds even more awesome in real life! And with DB-Killers also european proof.

What you're probably referring to is the intake induction noise the Triumph has which I love. I like the sound of Triumphs but I do not like this particular exhaust note at all.

+TheDutchGuy I did pull them out- still doesn't sound like yours- might get a power commander- either way I'm happy with it
+Dave Almeida Why should you get a power commander? You can get your mapping changed at your Triumph dealer to the TOR open exhaust mapping or arrow open mapping. It will make your bike run better on the exhaust and it's a factory option. I also opened the emission valve by default and mounted an open air filter.

I chopped the original one and mounted the plate on the top end
