@@jenniandlucy0115I doubt it. It's just a play. Plus, I'd say if this was mandatory to see before season 5, they'd put it to Netflix as well. Maybe they still will, you knows? Even so, I highly doubt this is gonna be like anything important you need to see to understand Stranger Things 5.

Hope an official recording of this play get released on Netflix later on since many fans like me can't go flying off to London at the drop of a hat to watch this, which sucks cause it looks really good.
This and the VR game make me further excited for S5. And the future spin offs after the final season such as that rumored anime mini series Stranger Things: Tokyo, and also some of the non ST series from The Duffer Brothers such as The Talisman, The Boroughs, and Death Note (which I hope is better than that crap Netflix movie.)
@ParkerCS2 Death Note really? I am most looking forward to The Talisman, I read that one in hs 25 years ago so I like many have been waiting, I know they will do it right.
@@TheDoctorwho747 yes especially since they are familiar with Stephen King type work and supernatural horror/fantasy type whimsical storytelling and science fiction concepts. I’m interested in seeing how they do it. Also if maybe they can have perhaps reference other Stephen King properties and tie and hint Talisman towards the Stephen King multiverse since they are good with multi dimensional stuff and also maybe Easter egg and cameo reference their own show Stranger Things into subtly hinted at being also connected to the Dark Tower multiverse. But as an Easter egg, not them setting up a shared universe as shared universes are overdone. Just a reference that Stranger Things could be slightly connected to King’s multiverse. But you get what I’m saying.

The play is part of season 5's storyline. They're going to have to have some of it filmed properly and put in the TV show.

Just watched this today. ABSOLUTLEY PHENOMENAL!! The actor for Henry Creel was so good and astonishing. He's going to be a big star in his future.

Well, it looks like they might see how they put the Netflix logo in it as well they put a lot of effort in this trailer. There are a lot of signs that this is coming to Netflix Netflix.
i saw it in london while i was there! at first i wanted to see it as a joke but i was blown away by how good the story telling actually was. it was like seeing a stranger things episode play out right before your eyes. it’s extremely well casted too, especially the girl who played joyce sounded just like winona in the show

It’s very likely they’re gonna do that, right before season 5 will be on Netflix. Now they just have to complete this part on stage for the live fruition.

This show is absolutely spellbinding. I can't overstate just how much it's worth going to see - unlike anything I've seen on a stage before! If you get the chance to see it, do it.
Sure, let me just buy some plane tickets from Portugal to UK real quick, then I need to pay for the tickets to the play. All in all it should only cost me close to 300€ just to watch this small part of the story, not that much money.
@@ppvsonicspy This is exactly why I said ‘if you have the chance’ - I have absolutely no control over the prices/location personally, so please don’t take it out on me. I’m very lucky to live close enough in this case, and also had to save for the tickets. All that being said, I hope there’s also plans in the works to release the show digitally.

That's not how it works. All the photos and filming the play isn't meant for public to really see nor consume. It's mostly in the part of documentation and preserving the plays. With Hamilton, is one of the handful of times, the rare ones, where we are allow to watch it. Mainly because theater productions operates differently for money returns. Which means, Netflix had nothing to do with the play besides having the Ip rights.
@@marleymarss But that's not how it works either. If I understand you correctly, you’re implying that some archival recordings are made public and put onto streaming platforms. But archival recordings are just that, a simple single-camera recording for the sake of going into an archive. The Hamilton proshot is a film specifically produced for an audience, with a higher production value, and thus way higher costs. So, if a play wants to be put on streaming, there needs to be a proshot specifically created for that. Which is why so few plays ever become available for digital viewing, not every show has the budget that Hamilton does. I imagine the same thing would be the case here. Hopefully with the exception that Netflix gave this enough money for it to get a proshot, with it being a part of one of their biggest franchises and all.

Saw the show just a few days ago, and it was fantastic.
Granted, I haven't actually watched the series, but my cousin was performing, so I had to see it.
It's a visual spectacle with some really impressive effects, with a story that stands on its own even if (like me) you're a little unfamiliar with the world.
It's all fun and games until people in the public start levitating and get crumpled up like in the series

Just watched this tonight in London, absolutely brilliant. Never seen such gamechanging theatre production and the acting for Henry, Joyce and Hopper was really fantastic! Managed to get tickets in the stalls for £50 which wasn’t so bad compared to what I’ve seen tickets going for!!!
The play is SOOOO GOOD
I’m so lucky to have watched it. It’s hands down the most spectacular theatre production I’ve ever seen. It had me jaw dropped the entire time! I couldn’t recommend it more.

Say this a few weeks ago, it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing like l’ve ever seen before in a theatre, a definite must see for Stranger Things fans, special effects are stunning! Definitely go and see it, it’s run has been extended to Feb ‘25, then it’s apparently going to Broadway…👍🏻

È incredibile fin dove si è spinta questa serie tv. Pensare che nel 2016 è partito dal nulla, da zero con poco budget per girare la serie. Ad oggi che è diventata una serie GIGANTE a parer mio. I mean why release the trailer now the plays been out since last year as well as to put this much effort in the trailer and even put the Netflix logo specialist and it’s pretty close to stranger things day. Glad I watched this two days ago - the theatre show was absolute thrill seeking can’t wait to see how they tie all this up in the next season
I saw this in the West End today and it was insane! The staging and special effects was so impressive. I was really surprised how lore-heavy the story was since I ended up feeling a bit confused by Vecna's character during s4 but a lot was explained during this play! If you get the chance to ever see it, it's absolutely amazing!
Of all the things that deserve the"Streaming Live on Netflix" treatment, THIS is the one that deserved it the most than all that other junk from the last few months!
Well, I’m pretty sure they’re going to soon. I mean this has been out since last year. I put a trailer out plus they even have the Netflix logo at the end which usually means they’re putting it on
@@blakelandry9313 they will at *some* point (Netflix financially produced the stage show so it's inevitable that they'll eventually transfer that investment to the screen), but because the London stage production was just given an extension of its run I suspect it might not be *as* soon. Right now, the fact that it's *exclusive* to the London stage is heavily driving the ticket sales up expressly because it being the only "supply" for viewing is keeping the demand very high (people have literally been traveling from other parts of the UK to get to see it). So *when* Netflix decides to stream it will probably depend on what Netflix decides will generate the most revenue.

I saw this two months ago in London and it was EPIC! The jumpscares omg! I was between this and going to Les Mis, but honestly, I was happy I went to see First Shadow. Freaking insane! The cast, and especially the lead playing Henry Creel, did a phenomenal job! Highly recommend this show!

I saw this show last Saturday and it's the best thing I've ever seen!! The combination of theatre and technology is amazing.
