Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. My 2004 Ford Ikon had the same problem with the chain guide breaking and the broken pieces ending up in the oil pick up. In my case I ended up with one of the piston rods punching a hole in the block!
very good instruction of this video for the ROCAM i am also busy with complete engine overhaul 2 cylinders dropped compression no 1&4 120psi no1 no2 150 no3 150 no4 90psi so after strip discover bad bore and noted prior to strip engine tappet cover oil filler was full of oil blow by crank case ventilation also further stripping engine bores were scored with vertical marks in bore well engine is at the engineers mic up and advised we require oversize 20thou and also the block requires decking slightly due to the engine overheating matter i suspected, these parts are very costly R18000 in total for everything my next worry is the feedback from engineers on the cylinder head i applied a straight edge and i CLOSED MY EYES after what i saw 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
Hi Gents i just received the cylinder head back today and all my parts to re-assemble and fit the engine i will keep you posted and make a video of the process and start up thank you very much for sharing build on this little engine...😂

Thanks oom. I have a bantam 1.3 shocking to see it has plastic chain tensioners. Irispective I enjoy its little performance. I would like to up the performance with a branch and free flow with maybe a piggy back ecu am I wasting my time ? Should I just drop another motor in ? I'f so what motor all comments are welcome.

Rocam is not in the Figo. Rocan for the South Africam Market is in the Ka, Bantam, Fiesta and Ikon. Anyway, Thanks, This was a great video clip.

Just go for a 1.6 Rocam engine, it will fit and you don't need to mod anything. On the 1.6 you can fit a branch and free flow
