Hello, I’m Joe - I’m a guitar player, singer-songwriter, producer, recording engineer and teacher!
On this channel you’ll find my original songs, covers and solo fingerstyle guitar arrangements. My favorite music doesn’t fit neatly in a box so you may hear me play folk, blues, jazz, & classic rock - you can call it what you want; I feel honored to speak this timeless language of melody, harmony & rhythm.
I was born on May 25th 1991 in Kempsey, NSW, Australia. Since 2010 I have been based in the US and currently live in the Rocky Mountains of Montana with my wife, Genevieve (who teaches illustration on CZcams!).
I play Maton acoustic guitars, made in Australia (just like me) and am very proud to have my own signature instrument, the JR Signature!

So much talent in one person. I expect him to go far.
I have not heard talent like this since living in N.Y.C.in the early 80's where some of the best musicians on the face of the earth played their hearts out live at 7th ave south with the likes of Steve Gadd and Marcus Miller, Steve Kahn, Hyram Bullock Will Lee and the Brecker Brothers. His vocals are unmatched... I am truly moved and amazed by this young talent. Finally in this day, REAL talent emerges The best I've heard in decades!

I saw Joe & this band play at the Fender booth at the NAMM show last year - THEY KILLED IT!!!!!!!!!!!

It's because of guys like Joe and Ed Sheeran (two completely different leagues, I know), as well as John Mayer and to some extent even FUN. are helping out with that. Three guitarists and an alternative band. Saying something, no? And I live in NY. We see a lot of people come through here with raw talent and great taste. Unfortunately, the rest of the nation doesn't. You have to live in NYC, Nashville, Memphis, and LA to some extent to see this. Seattle as well, among a few others.

Playing those lead lines between your vocals is not easy - and wow, he is very, very smooth. Amazing.
This vid, this music…instrumentals, I revisit it every now and again due to how it makes me feel. I’m not a major music junkie, unless it’s Appalachian blue grass, but I love it! Wish I could see this dude in concert.

Great composition, wonderful voice, overwhelming guitar play and excellent band.
I'm just worring about Joe himself, because he looks like starting to pay tribute to all this intensive touring live of a musician. I'd prefer him to get old (and be less productive if need be) than to burn out as a young genius (that he is to me).
