Which FFXIV Healer is for you?

- With the release of Endwalker at the end of 2021, there are now 4 different healer class to chose from. With each class having it's own distinct playstyle and class mechanics, it can be hard to figure out which healer would best match your own playstyle and flair.
In this video, I'm breaking down each healer class to its simplest form so you can determine which class would be best suited for you!

one think id like to say is i feel as tho whm is more of a burst healer where as astro is regen, at least more optimally. otherwise they can be played both ways, maybe less astro. just my personal take :3 and great job on the video btw!
I never realized that. It seems like AST has more regens that WHM, having Aspected Benefic and Aspected Helios, as well as Collective Unconscious and Celestial Opposition whilst WHM only has Medica 2, Regen and Asylum.
AST has it all and a big bubble for ppl to step in
Pretty much any class is straight foward. DPS - well you DPS, Healer - Heals - Tanks - Tanks lol. I believe healers have a harder job over DPS, having to constantly DPS, heal and watch agro... more brain power than needed that you didn't cover.
Is Afflatus Misery not 1200 potency now? I thought they buffed it to be a dps gain from glare spam
Might’ve had an old screenshot but yes, Misery is 1240 potency now.
Its an equivalent to glare spam, not a gain, which is...y'know...not a lost i guess.

@@zerothree9126 Unless you get Misery under 2m buffs, then it's a gain.
@@zerothree9126 no its not a gain but it makes things even now, think more in lines of sage where you heal in exchange for doing damage, maybe not literally but thats how i think of it.
Paladin my fav healer cuz Clemency got big 1000 potency and I know my green healer loves me spamming it

I’ve been leveling white mage a lot these past few weeks and while I do enjoy it’s simple game play I feel I’m not contributing enough and solo content can be difficult sometimes because damage just isn’t there so that’s why I mostly stick to dungeons and levequest here n there

Can't believe you forgot the Best Dungeon healer in the game... Warrior /s White Mage probably best fits my playstyle as i like "oh shit need a big heal" buttons

There are better Guides out there. Still waiting for this one to explain. Others Guides dies this way way better. In 8 minutes it is almost Impossible.
I can never get over how fugly the UI is in this game lol. UI mods, maybe that can make it look better.
