    Thank you for not playing awful obnoxious inappropriate loud background music!!! This is most enjoyable to sit back and watch. Thanks for sharing...

    Great job! I love that you took the time to tell the clothing story, then the ride. I've been on five rides for a great cause. Well done!

    From the time this whole "DGR" thing was "invented", it gave the chance to rich people to exhibit their "Bonnevilles", put their really nice clothes on and put out a nice show!!! Reminds me of the time that Harley Davidson made all these cool shinny bikes.......rich businessmen, lawyers, doctors, golden boys soon enough owned one or two and didn't have a clue how a carburetor works or how to fix their bikes themselves!!! To me owning and riding bikes has to do with different lifestyles.... punk music, skateboarding, early life bicycle-wheelies, building, customising and fixing bikes, dirt and dust.....! However, i wish all these people safe rides....."Ride your bikes every day, all day"!!!

      The people in Costa Rica, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Nepal etc (181 countries) still manage to dress up and organize rides on their old scooters and home made machines, a lot of people it seems like dressing up and showing off their old and classic bikes especially because its a good cause, this ride isnt about you its about helping others in need, the guy in Australia that started it 10 or so years ago to commemerate his buddy who killed himself had no idea it would take off and become a worldwide phenominon.
      The Thais in particular put on a good show - czcams.com/video/xqn7oY9f9as/video.html
      Maybe one day you might set aside your own limitations and go give it a lash or even start one in your own town and help your fellow brothers, fathers, you.

      @@kell7195 very well said.....you're right!.....in the most part....! I know the story behind DGR, this guy you mentioned "decided for one day to put his nice clothes on and go around with his bike, showing other people that bikers are not bad dudes at all, etc."...yeah i know all that..... I've been in one DGR gathering in Athens,Greece-2017,..... as i said, many rich people showed up with their nice clothing and their beautiful just-purchased "Bonnies", people who didn't have a clue two years ago what a bike is all about, showing off their bikes! Certainly, i do still have limitations at 52 years of age, as you probably have, and all of us have!..... Your point of view is well respected,.... i'm not gonna change some of my views on life now, at 52! Thank U! Take care!

      @@toolfool9030 Good to see you gave it a go, there's always going to be the Doctor/Dentist types on their brand new Harley's/Triumphs whatever but most people just take their old bike out of the shed blow the dust off and rock up if it makes it lol, never let others ruin your day, im not one for self aggrandizing wankers myself but its good to see new people getting on a bike whomever they are.
      I see the Athens one is on the 10 year commemorative video - czcams.com/video/XQKY3-6llPM/video.html - even greater to see the Filipinos having a ball burning around on their 2 stroke scooters, they dont care and neither do I, they are part something great.

    My first year in DGR was also my last one, I did not appreciate this people self-exhibition, noise and pollution, complacency, but a small sense of charity as most riders don't care of it (see low amount of donations ). Basically a chaos of motorbikes, food and drinks...

    • @sakygen
      @sakygen Před 10 měsíci

      Would have looked better if they rode clean like 2x2 on the road so it would look more distinguished lol. It just looked chaotic
