    looks really good, but I was wondering why you cook the blueberries after going through all the trouble with the raw pancake, I would have just Blended blueberries to a liquid adding maple syrup and maybe a just enough coconut flour to thicken it up to not be too runny, :-)

      Just blueberries and dates in a blender would do the trick. Maybe add in some Chia seeds if you use maple syrup.

    Hi, great recipe. Just one tip I've found to work for me is to use a wooden fork or utensil for smashing the bananas and they will not brown. I read that there is something with metal utensils that reacts and turns the bananas brown. Thanks for all the wonderful recipes.

    I had many bananas, so I decided to try this recipe! It was a very good idea for pan cakes! They are tasty, healthy, without sugar.
    We ate them simple and with home made Nutella. I can say that on the next day they are more tasty than the fresh and hot ones!
    And I made them slightly fried with your a little bit of coconut oil and baked in the oven as well.
    Great idea! Thank you, Petra!

    Petra, would you consider making this with sprouted buckwheat? People have pushed wet sprouted wheat grains through a slow juicer or manual meat grinder to get a self-rising dough. This is a solution for those concerned about the seeds/grains not being cooked in the dehydrator.

    I thought raw meant that you didn't cook your food. I'm confused....what does raw actually mean??

    • @charmaineletizia37
      @charmaineletizia37 Před 4 lety

      As in raw food. As in fresh fruit. Healthy fresh seeds, Milk made from nut's, or oat, organic with all the nutritional value still in your food. Dehydrating, is like, very slow cooking.

    • @kommad.2931
      @kommad.2931 Před 4 lety +1

      @@charmaineletizia37 So you top it all off with cooked blueberries at the end?
      And dehydrating is not like cooking but more like drying your food. The point is, you keep the temperature below 42 degrees celsius, then you can call it "raw" (and technically maple syrup isn't raw either).
      Btw., I love all of those recipes, but I have to agree that her husband does not seem to appreciate them quite as much as they deserve most of the time. Maybe she can invite someone else over to comment on the dishes - if they need any commenting at all. Actually the amazing look of the result speaks for itself.

    Not one of the elements is raw. the sauce isn't, the coconut cream is most likely boiled in the can, maple syrup in the pancakes is definitely boiled down, the buckweat grouts looked toasted. Doesn't bother me, I probably will make them at some points.

That's why people choose to refrain, check out "eldely" raw foodists, the difference in health is undeniable. A raw food pancake is such a treat!! No human should be consuming too much sugar on a regular basis.
