Food leads to health or disease, it your choice. Also, your body talks to you when you make bad food choices. At 76, I’m plant based eater and stay away from desserts, processed and fried foods, and no sugar drinks. Preferred water and green teas. Also, I still enjoy my own cooking and make my own salad dressing. I make good use of my Fitbit.

I don't think employees at drive thru were trying to embarrass you. They were just giving unsolicited advice.
Some people really don't know that eating an entire 12" pizza by themselves at one sitting is overeating.
When giving advice, I'm guessing they were concerned for you and thought they were being helpful, not hurtful.
Speaking truthfully, making a truthful statement, isn't an insult necessarily.
    It's all perspective.

That's not all the employees at Taco Bell do though that can shame a customer. I was once lectured to by one of the employees telling me how they would not be making the minor changes such as asking for more tomatoes or onions added I asked them to make on the burritos or tacos I ordered even though I offered to pay extra for it. I think that is a major reason why I stopped eating there for awhile.

btw...I keep my oatmeal in quart sized jars that once held fruit.
I'm glad he mentioned chips though vegan are not promoting health regardless of what they say. Simply eating vegan Does Not equate with health. Fat, salt and sugar, those are the three women I should never date even if they are wearing a plant based slinky covering, is what was told at a training I went to. Here in the UK we have Food Banks where people in need can get food supplies free or very cheaply. Sadly the users of these banks almost always lack any nutritional knowledge & just as Chuck said, don’t realise how to cook economically and prepare “real” food. When the charities ask for donations of food they have to bear this in mind because large bags of rice, beans, grains which have to be cooked are left on the shelf.

Utube does a disservice to people. Some channels claim the best diet is plant based, other channels claim carnivore or keto are the best diet practices. It becomes so confusing, I don't listen clear through the video. Personally I feel better eating meat, vegetables, and salads. I cheat once in a while to have some ice cream. I'm always hungry if I eat plant based. I'm hungry in just a few hours if I have oatmeal, plus bloated. I'm sorry but I watched a carnivore video, then a plant based video, now this. I think it's too confusing

The dietary factions are so polarized, but it's a no-brainer to avoid the foods that they ALL disapprove of. ALL of them agree that refined sugar and refined grains are unhealthy.
You can also hedge your bets by compromising. If you're not sure about meat/dairy/eggs/fish, then eat just a limited amount of these foods. If you're not sure about whole grains, then eat just a limited amount of them.

People regardless of race make choices with the budget they have. I live in NYC and I know people who receive good money in food stamps. First of all fast food is expensive and most people have the internet and can learn about nutrition, but again it's an individual choice. If you want to eat McDonnell's and Kentucky fried you can. You can take a bus or subway to a farmers market or there are better stores near where you work. I am so over this race bs. You need to prioritize food over clothing and hair styles
