Ibrahim Traore Is Finally Transforming The Mining Industry In Burkina Faso

  • Is there any country in the world where the president can expel all foreign gold mining companies exploiting the country's gold? Well, until now, there was not. However, Captain Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso has made history by taking such a revolutionary step. It took him some time before making this move, but he has created a circle of the most powerful people on his side.
Captain Ibrahim Traore has suspended all foreign mining licenses, including those held by Russian companies. So, what led to this decision? It appears that he discovered covert activities being carried out by foreign companies in Burkina Faso. This compelled him to cancel their licenses. The question now is, what does he plan to do with the thousands of tons of gold that will remain within Burkina Faso?
Upon assuming power, Captain Ibrahim Traore was astonished that Burkina Faso, despite having significant gold reserves, remained one of the world's poorest nations. He realized that France, Burkina Faso's former colonial power, played a role in obstructing the development of an independent gold mining industry in the country. France imposed unfair trade agreements on Burkina Faso during both the colonial period and the post-independence era, ensuring that France disproportionately benefited from Burkina Faso's gold resources.

With all due respect he will not, regardless of what they tell us all men are not built equal. For example president Bola Tinibu is a small cowardly runt of a man who has lived his whole life being small. That man has no balls it is not a case of growing then he simply does not have them in his constitution. Africans are scared to take action into their own hands. They don’t understand that they will have to rise up and throw the bad eggs out not wait for them to become good eggs. What is happening now is bad eggs like Bola Tinibu are attacking the hood leaders in Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso. You will have to take action it is not just a case of sitting around waiting for bad people to become good. Africans need to learn from the 3 countries I mentioned. The people of these countries in the Sahel all got up and protested against bastar*s like Muhammad Bazoum. The army acted for the people. Stop this cowardliness Africans.

Merely expelling foreign companies isn't what Traore is doing, he's also empowering the private to build new ones by lifting tax burdens on small and large businesses. If you don't have the complete solution then expelling foreign companies does nothing. In fact keeping them is good to help local companies compete. Capitalism 101

Looking at the miners at work it looks like backbreaking work that most French people wouldn't do. I hope captain Ibrahim wil make sure the miners are included in all new deals with mining countries. ❤❤❤❤. The captain made the right decision and hopefully other countries will follow and replace the leaders that puts their benefits before the benefits of the people.❤❤

I am from an island nation in the south Pacific north of Australia called Papua New Guinea. My country is a resource rich country with abundance of oil and mineral deposits. We face similar problems and we are underdeveloped in many ways.
I don't blame foreign miners for our underdevelopment but blame mismanagement by so called parliamentary leaders who are elected by us as citizens.
In a recent turn, our current prime minister made changes in shares after a mining company's license expired. Our government is now owning 51% of one of our biggest gold mines that is still not operating pending some shares and land owner's issues.
If Burkina Faso can come up with such ideas and take bold moves, the nation can improve their GDP.
I applaud the ideas and move by Ibrahim Troare to take back a part of Mother Africa.
    Hail Ibrahim Troare.

Meantime may his enemies fail. May the spirit of Thomas Sinkara protect him, especially seeing that even best friends can quickly turn into enemies number one
