    Win-win business is fine, but Senegal must expel the French troops from the country, remove the CFA franc, and renegotiate all the contracts. Its not like China or Russia will give Sengel evertthing it needs for free, every country should do bussiness in the way the europeans do with other countries but without the occupying troops, cfa frank etc.

      Everything is not just all about money or natural resources. Being able to produce these vaccines involves many years of research and development or procuring licenses, collaborations and partnerships with big pharmaceutical companies that have already done/been doing that for many years. And most of those companies are European/US companies hence need to work with them.

    Reading the comments, I think most people here are being emotional. Senegal still has many French companies contributing to their economy. Sometimes, maturity must be shown whilst countries at loggerheads try to form a relationship. That the US is not in agreement with China doesn’t mean there aren’t trade deals going on. As long as Mr Faye is vigilant and only entertains those deals that are mutually beneficial and true to his promises, then that’s fine.
