    This was awesome!!!! It's like doing a magic trick without feeling like you're "performing" cause you're more focused on screwing your friends into giving you money :D Bring Jake back, I want more of these!!!!

    I love when Brian is suspicious about the two Jacks already being the deck together, and when he says "fortunate", it make it sound even more suspicious (even though it really was just a coincidence)

    AND it sets up with the participant getting used to it\trusting in these "choose your pile"- ruse, no force, genuie free choice. Exploitable.
    Very very beautiful . also putting one of my personal first ever learned effects to good use (turnung just one card behind the back with one Hand presented AS "the fastest deck trick oft the world". Now on stereoids =D
    Love this!

    super cool effect and so simplified to the older version of turning the card on the bottom and flipping the deck this of course can only be done after the free choice cut :)

    This one could even turn into a different trick if you do the second flip really fast right in front of their eyes. If you're fast enough, it could look like you did the move you claimed to do, and then you could even let them spread out the pile on their own if you want.

    This was cool.
    Brian always cracks me up.
    He would be fun to have a few beers with.
    Brian asked David if he wanted to learn it, And David said Yes.
    I thought, whats to learn, we already saw how to do it, see, in mean saw. Lmao.
    Then the video ended. Wtf.
    Thanks guys.

    I never thought of flipping a card protruding from the middle before. I don't know about putting it back in the exact same position but I didn't have any trouble. I practice left handed cuts while killing time so this was super super simple. Still got a few years to learn things. My niece is going to go to school and tell them I kicked Harry Potters butt one day.
    Nice little scam we've got here 😀

    I haven't seen the explanation, yet, but I'm pretty sure that I use this method for the "turn your card upside-down behind my back" effect. I also do it one-handed.

    • @BryceCastillo
      @BryceCastillo Před 2 lety

      Oop, yep! We edited out a goof-up and didn't notice that! But the instruction is correct to put the cards back in face-down at that point. Good looking out!

    • @mikeonthebox

      Yes that got me confused as when the deck comes back there is no magic actually there.

  • @Seekaywastaken
    @Seekaywastaken Před 2 lety

    Should I feel proud that I figured that out? Isn't that a Cardini change incorporated into it? Very cool though.

    • @timah9420
      @timah9420 Před 2 lety

      Cardini change goes down the other side of the deck with the pink and ring instead of the thumb. It reminds of one of the one handed changes in The Expert at the Card Table. Though that change doesn't turn the deck over. It's basically the first part of a Bullet flourish.

    • @Seekaywastaken
      @Seekaywastaken Před 2 lety

      Hm, yeah doing it with the thumb does feel a bit faster for me, especially when flipping the pack over.
