A very HUMBLE thank-you Jason for allowing me to ride along with you that day…
So frustrating to prepare for an event getting to meet old friends and then the Clutch let go. It was a very *interesting* drive home over two hours without it.
The new Clutch is in and the beefed up Transmission right behind it. Shortly it goes back to Barth for a FULL E85 tune and I’ll be ready for next year.
Man, that Auto shifts hard and fast. Lot faster than my worn out right shoulder! 😊

162 mph last year on 105 Octane Unleaded! Pulley, Injectors and a Tune- Wait till Barth gets his D*ck beaters on it again. I’ve prewritten him a check big enough to send me back to College…🤨

You have the w212 or w213? How’s ur reliability with the car. Engine, axles, tires? I have the 2019 w213 w catless downpipes I been wanting to go to a 800hp tune but I’m afraid the engine won’t handle it or even other parts that’s y I’m asking.

I actually like hellcats but it's funny watching the owners have high expectations when running full-fledged 63 AMGs. That thing was probably 100% stock too.

I laughed when he said "lets hunt him down." I knew there was no catching him in half a mile and that at some point, even if the runway was infinite, aero would start to play a part.

Mercedes Benz has been making slippery E class cars since the mid 80s. The original AMG Hammers based on the lowly W124 Mercedes 200E were capable of 191mph; big engine (~400hp 5.6 liter V8,) beefed up transmission, and a different rear axle. That was with a 4 speed transmission.
I was reeling him in, just ran out of room. He killed me in the first 1/4 mile for sure.

@lovemusic158 I have a w212 with the renntech 93+ octane tune. The M157 as long as it's after 14 should have the updated cam chain tensioner. I ended up having to do that repair. If you read further on mbworld this concern of tune and wear and tear is discussed ad nosium. There most definitely is a reduction of life in the motor when tuned specifically pistons, cylinders, and rods. I would start there just so you understand what you're in for if you push beyond stage 1 or 2.
as you can see, its not always about horsepower, al lot of horses is easy, but putting them on the street is something else, that is why they always lose from european cars.
AWD is definitely a benefit getting off the starting line.

Nothing new here. Any Hellcat vehicle besides the Trackhawks are overrated. My E63 AMG S that only has intake and tune beats Hellcats all day. Roll racing OR from a stop.🤷🏻♂️

My friends 2wd e63 runs very close to my awd e63. Both tuned. The e63 would still have walked this hellcat
