i have a 2014 rt charger and it did kinda bad on sales . but theyve improved the awd system since then , i think if the charger and challenger had the hell cat durango awd system theyd be haulling ass

@@CCET3Drums huh? the 10 speed mustangs and 10 speed SS always pulls from the scat pack if both have equal passengers and when both drivers are competent. Z06 still pull away from hellcats and run faster 60-130 times and trap higher in the quarter mile. I think ur talking about the redeye which is different. Normal hellcats cannot beat the Z06. Also all the dyno numbers posted on forums and CZcams are pretty right on par with what dodge claims I would say

The power/weight ration that you expose at the begining don't means it all. with my own little Forte GT, i often beats more powerfull car, like the other day, a Honda Accord sport at a street light, , i was toe to toe till 80 k/h, then his power takes over..

I've """raced""" more frequently on the high way than at stops. One isn't more "real world" than the other. Besides, red light racing sounds like something that would interest a teenage Golf R owner
in the real world who's racing from a stop light ? teenagers 90% of random races happen from a roll anyone racing from a stoplight doesn't value their car or license
@Persia Shahdi High way races are rarely like these fair start roll races. Most of the time it's just going through traffic together.
But if two high HP car parked at red light. It's going to be a good race in my experience.

@@jamisonz3365 If you're at a stoplight, you're almost certainly somewhere you shouldn't be racing. Not that you should be racing on the highway, but doing a 50 mph-80 mph or 80km/h-150 km/h once or twice is much less risky.

Hi Sam, in Race mode, did you shift yourself or let the car shift for you? I have an AMG too and when on a roll, I put in race mode , lower the gear to 5K rpm and slam the gas paddle and let the car shift for me at redline. Most people don’t know about AMG race mode that it shifts perfectly.

same man. i have a c63s coupe and i basically do the same. on a 40 roll i put the car in race mode, and blimp the throttle to get it into 2nd gear at around 4-4.5k rpm and then mash the throttle. works every time

Yes the race mode shifts at redline and is best when racing in the newer amg’s, and I recommend getting the 2019 Model or below as the newer ones sound has been dramatically reduced, I have the 2019 e63s and it is fastest in race mode.

For low end fun power... get a Scat Pack. For top end fun... get a Hellcat! Simple as that! 💯

Just different throttle reaction not driver issue
It's because of turbo lag in the E63S. Should've put the car in manual mode and keep the rpm up to have turbos ready more immediately. You also have to remind yourself that the RedEye driver own his car and knows inside out. More driver skilled/focused/tuned on the RedEye side than the Merc side.
Not sure if you have or not but try the Acura 3.5L tlx Aspec against the Acura TypeS. I own a 2019 tlx Aspec wanna see how it does against the TypeS.
That's beast of a car 3.5 TLX apec. Prolly more reliable and lighter than turbo type S. Good deals on used ones thinking to replace my WRX with those. Is SH AWD good on snow?

Fantastic video. I own a scat pack wide body. I can hook barely. Wish the Hellcat would have an all wheel drive version. If the Hellcat had drag radials, I think it would have made a difference.

they’re not early 2000’s tuners cars there’s a reason turbocharged german cars are so expensive. there’s little to no delay on those cars despite having turbos that should be common knowledge by now

I'm honestly surprised that on the Hellcat Redeye widebody's that they don't have 315 or 335 tires on tbe rear at least. 305's on a rear drive car with 800hp isn't enough tire
The regular hellcat is 275 rears with 707 horse. Not nearly enough tire
It’s pointless to roll race in auto mode and not have the cars locked in a gear. Just do sport mode locked in a gear with manual shift, that shows what is the faster car and it’s what we all want to see. Normal people that race in traffic don’t leave it in comfort mode and auto lol.

4th gear Supra started creeping up to half car length but we had to start breaking. Maybe 4-6th we’re neck to neck? But we didn’t keep going. Both cars were stock at the time.
You actually coud do a fair race from the dig, by deactivating front axle on 63s (even activating drift mode). But you ignored that option. Anyway, 63s would launch way better even rwd only. Redeye is so inconsistent in performance because his compressor becoming hot after 2-3 runs and even cooling from a/c system isn't fast enought and also put some +load on his engine.
You cant do a "fair" race 🤦
The Merc is heavier and less powerfull so you cant do it fair and its a station wagon...but if you want a RWD in that Merc its only possible in Drift mode which automaticly deativates stability and traction control....Btw no muscle car is good at launching....not a single one...only on drag strip with slicks like what 😂😂

Yes 650 horse. Manufactures rate their cars at the fly wheel not the rear wheel. There’s a big loss of power, generally 17-22%.
AMG did fantastic considering it's 200HP less
M5 CS with the same hp as the Mercedes E63 S on dyno is much faster than REDEYE

The m5 cs weight like 500 lbs less than this e63s estate and it has way more horsepower which the m5 cs Dyno at about 620 to the wheels but BMW rate it at 637 hp to the crank. This e63s weight 4,700 lbs, it's an estate and it has 560 wheel horsepower. Stop talking non sense.

It suck’s how dodge never made an AWD Hellcat charger or challenger. I wish they would’ve made the Demon or Redeye AWD just because it would be so much fun seeing them grip instead of sliding all over the place.

Real cars race from a dig. The e63 wagon runs 11.2 stock consistently, can’t do that in the red eye. The amg is a stop light warrior lol.
Actually at a drag strip my Redeye runs consistently 11.00 Stock. So yes it does if you know how to drive one.. as opposed to every CZcams who gets the car with pooprellis tires and mashes the throttle spinning through 3 gears.

Hp isn't what makes vehicles quick off the line and upto about 70mph, it is torque. Hp takes over above 65-70 mph. Below that is tq.

Yes, the dodge was a great disadvantage not being on a prepped strip. Outcomes would have been very different for the charger, but it still held its own.
It had 2.5L capacity advantage, 150nm torque advantage, weight advantage but you think it losing to a station wagon is a win?

I crush Dodges all the time. Even the Challenger is bigger and heavier than the E63s wagon. People assume it's a big car but it noticeably smaller than the big Dodge's when you see them together in person.

According to my figures, the US-spec W214 AMG wagon is 2154kg - you can probably work that out in your ancient measurement system, but it's quite a bit more than the Redeye at 2075kg
