Davis is a true master of catching them from the blind and sneakily closing the distance between his hands and the target with clever shoulder movements, positioning, and feints. I don't think Garcia has the defensive reflexes and the ability to read his opponents or fool them by creating trap-openings, especially not against Tank.

I’m expecting this fight to be explosive. Can’t really choose a favorite because both are extremely talented and adaptive in the ring. Power favors Tank, Ryan has been on the canvas once. On the flip side Ryan is lightning fast and patient with setting up his punches and moves forward with pressure. This will be a legendary fight to remember. Anticipate a classic braw like De la Hoya vs Trinidad. May the best fighter claim victory! Hard work and dedication!!!

The difference I see in these 2 fighters is Ryan was taught to fight Tank was kicking ass in the streets as a baby. His uncles brought him to the gym because Tank love to fight. He is also a freeak for pain. So if Ryan's game plan doesn't work where would he go? If Tanks game plan doesn't work Tank will take it to the streets. I hope both have outstanding performances. I love epic stiff competition. And yes I used to live across the street from Upton gym. I remember the short kid with the big head.🤓 They was calling him Tank head back then. Seeing a fighter come up from childhood gives you an unparalleled perspective.
Ryan is a gym creature. So it is possible that one will survive a brawl while the other may simply lose a fight.
However, we cannot underestimate a fighter having a break in the ring or getting a knockdown.
In my estimation Tank will win by knockout or points. I see a longer shot for Ryan. Ryan would need to surprise tank with a hard hook. And I don’t see Tank making that mistake.
Tank is planning to fight a short distance brawl and so reduce Ryan’s reach.
If Ryan has the legs he may survive and it could down to points.
Odds are in Tanks’ favor IMO.

I honestly believe Ryan Garcia is being underestimated . Gervonta should win the fight, but Garcia is actually capable of beating him, with his speed. . Plus he has s very strong mental atittude right now. I hadn’t seen a boxer so determined snd focused in a long time.

Damn this was the best video leading up to the fight I’ve seen so far.
This is a good match up, Davis is a slow starter and even more so against longer opponents, and he gets hit and tagged quite a bit in the early-mid rounds. Seeing someone like Ryan who’s long, and also fast and extremely powerful pick at him is gonna be interesting, if he does enough damage he can either coast to decision if he doesn’t get caught or slow Davis down enough to make the onslaught in the later rounds manageable.
That slow start narrative is so overplayed 🤣🤣 Davis has crushed all of his opponents except what 5 before the 10th ? It’s not like he goes the distance at all .

Tank can definitely take a punch & deliver a devastating left uppercut, the power overall goes to Tank...Ryan Garcia has the speed edge & powerful left hook, if he can avoid Tank's power, especially the left uppercut, Ryan has a very good chance...The key to a Ryan victory in my opinion is the straight right(Tank looking for left hook) & not engaging inside to much, in & out, fast jab, lateral movement...Not sure Ryan's height & reach is that much of a factor, look what Tank did to Barrios...I'm leaning towards Ryan with close decision.

They have comparable speed - I think this fight will come down to who can weather the storm of the other's power. If Gervonta can take Ryan's power flush on the chin and keep moving without wobbling - Ryan is screwed - and vice versa. I really don't care who wins as long as it isn't a disappointing let down of a fight. Three fights that need to be great in order to raise boxing from the dead - Spence/Crawford, Fury/Usyk, and Garcia/Davis. Without those fights happening and being at least good - boxing is going to continue it's rapid decline.

I'm just really happy we have 2 huge fighters in their primes fighting. Boxing has been so dead for many years and this fight is hopfully a wake up for the rest of boxing. I like Garcia so I hope he wins but Tank is extremely good also. Guess it depends how well Ryan can keep the distance I think if he tries to have a fire fight with him and knock him out he wont have the sucess he wants. Should take a page from Barrios book and try win on points.

I think Tank win by being patient like he did with Romie, Rome was having some success and Tank remained patient until the mistake came then he made Rome pay, there will be times when Tank will want to counter Ryan because of eagerness but his patience will make him wait until he wears out Ryan's patience and then he'll take advantage of it and then we'll see Ryan's plan B and C
