I lost my grandmother a couple months ago, I had shown her Life is Strange and Syd Matters quickly became one of her favorite bands. Now when I start to miss her I come back to his music. In a way I still feel her sitting with me listening to this music.

Whatever is going on in your lives. Whatever addictions and demons you guys are fighting. Whatever troubles you at night. No matter how many times the voice in your head tells you you're not good enough. Just know that I'm glad you're still here. I find solace in you guys. You guys show me I'm not entirely alone in this fucked up world. You guys who are here listening to this and feeling the same myriad of feelings I'm experiencing, are my closest friends. Even when you feel like you're getting pushed away from family and friends, just know you're not alone and this random guy is rooting for you. Life Is Strange is such a meaningful game for me. It's seriously so special. It gives me a feeling that no other media (tv shows, movies, other videogames) has ever given me. I don't know what they put into this game but it hits you so hard, like you actually get attached to the story and characters. On the ending I cried so much I actually surprised myself even lol.

Am I the only one who listens to this, and instantly thinks their in Arcadia Bay? Looking out a window, I can see all of Arcadia Bay, and a lighthouse in the distance. Then the song ends, and reality sets in as I realize, none of it is real. It’s not there. And then I break down quietly because I just want to escape this hellhole that is our world. Max and Chloe, enjoy your world while it lasts. :)

I see how some people feel depressed when playing Life Is Strange or listening to the soundtrack but I find it weird how I am not one of those people. I felt relaxed and honestly this song really spoke to me. "We play hide and seek in waterfalls" really reminded me of when I was very young and free..made me tear up a little bit of just the purity of my thoughts. Even now, to this day, i cry a little. It's very moving and beauty in the lyrics. Not so much depressing

This song feels like the fading echoes of 2013. It feels warmer, simpler, easier, and happier. It makes me think of my entire life, with the good old days being in an orange, familiar and warm tint. Me, hugging my mother and father for giving me a dog, spending time with my cousins playing Minecraft. Watching PopularMMOs, Stampy cat, Dan The Diamond Minecart/DanTDM. But then I realize that nothing has changed, it's just that when we were young we were too naïve, too stupid, too simple to understand the real world. This song makes me feel free, as free as I was when I was a child when noone judged my every action, as free as my imagination when I was obsessed with drawing, as free to express my thoughts to my friends during lunch. These times are my most cherished memories, and I'm glad I experienced them, and I hope others can too. We're all clinging to our memories hoping things to revert back to the old days and be happy again, but theres something that is difficult for everyone, even me, to accept, it's that we can easily go back to the past, it's just that noone is there anymore. We can't stay in the past, or else we will be left behind. We have to accept that we're in this rollercoaster together, and just like a rollercoaster, this hell of a ride whether happy or not will end soon.

This is the kind of music that no matter how many times you have listened to it, it will still have a special place in you heart, a place where everything is timeless, unending. This is the kind of music that stays with you until the end, and still remember all the memories you've had over the years you've lived your life. That's the magic of this song, the older it gets, the more we have to travel through memory lane and the more we remember from it. Life is Strange 2 doesn't come close to being amazing like the original Life is Strange. Max, Chloe and their story will always have a special place in my heart and be one of my top favorite games of all time. That game was so powerful and really felt like more than just a game. I remember my teen/young adult years in 2010's, when the life was simple. Just wake up, go to College then University, just chilling with my childhood friends and making happy moments. We're not play in Waterfall but in Corn fields, playing WOW and others video games. And later we had parties and take our first hangovers together.
Now, we live far from each other. Some have become fathers, others are married. But the memories remain. We'll meet again one day, I promised you !

Life Is Strange is one of those games that flat out has no happy ending. It’s a pretty depressing and melancholic experience all the way through but the fact that at the end you have to choose whether you should let thousands die or if you should let your best friend and what seems like the only person in the world that you truly love die to save those thousands in that little town. The game didn’t and still doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. It’s such a beautifully melancholic game. It sticks with you. It has stuck with me for 5 years.
