What the reporter forgot to mention, AND IT IS A FUNDAMENTAL DETAIL, is that at the infamous Mestalla game, not only did the referee ignore the racist protocol, he ended up showing a RED CARD to Vinicius. That's when the Brazilian player said "Enough is enough"

Racism like other forms of prejudice are taught in the home, and then end up trickling from one generation to the next. I spent 2 years in an English school. Kids of 13/14 were spewing vile xenophobia that I didn't understand or comprehend as a Kurdish child. Some grow up and correct their ways. Others grow up, fail in life, marriage etc and they find attacking people who look different to them as their own insecurities coming to the fore.
