Very well made short film brother. All the best to you
As a mortician myself this is one of the most close to reallity, I was really proud of them seeing them doing all that work
Hi Dimitri, subbed! Love your Kurosawa/Ozu video and after that watched this short film of yours. Great short film! Looking forward to seeing more by you. 😊🎬🎶
Ive found this trough your ozu/kurosawa video essay and i must say this irecting is stellar. I really like the shot cohoiches (mostly the extreme close ups at the start and the fact that you used the dead body as foreground) i also think the sentence of the young girl at the end was really powerfull and emotionally charged. I hope you continue making movies because this rightfully deserved an award.
Thank means so much! Thank you :)
One of the best short films I've seen I a long long time man, please keep this up!
Thank you so much! On to the next one ImI
It reminds me a sunny April day during Easter feast, some 20 years ago. I've actually kiss her forehead and her hand. Anyway normally everyone kiss the icon/cross and the hand of the departed in an Orthodox Christian funeral office. And people join their hands over the departed body. So peaceful and full of gratitude... Love tears allowed though - but we would guess in the movie that it's about their mother. My sister was also around... next wave is for us at the right time.
First things First very nice work i am you fan now.. now comming to the movie i was able to relate the child and his big brother, it was like every layer of the shot was touched to mind and heart at the same time.
That's amazing to hear. Falling Leaves was a passion project to everyone involved, and every department composed each frame with so much love for the characters and the story. It means the world to us, seeing that others are relating to it as well.

& thank you !
Really enjoyed this. Thanks. I'm looking more and more into wanting to move into filming and pieces like this give me a lot of inspiration to do so.
That’s great to hear! Share the work once it’s done :)
Man this is inspiring work. Love this shit.
woah that's me so weird
i have question comparing lives to leaves, being able to say its natural process of life. And we need to move like how new leaves take its place. does it mean the old dried up leaves on the ground (our lives) are in the same way insignificant! ?
Old dried leaves arent insignificant they decompose and make the ground fertile

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
Why don't make you short horror films now ??
