The Right Ridgeline Done Easy

Using the Nite-ize Configure 9 Carabiner, basically cheating your way from tying any knots. But that's Knot a bad idea. This video is meant to present another easy way when you truly need it to be super simple. Enjoy!!!!

i hate this setup! 1. you can save the 9 carabiners by tying paracord or bankline loops to the tarp and pass the ridgeline paracord thhrough the loops twice for an autolock tension. (or other simple aytolocking systems you can find on many videos 2. i do not like all the tension on the tarp. i prefer to have all the tension in the ridgeline and hang the tarp on it. 3.you only get slack in the ridgline if you put more tension on the taro then you did on the ridgeline. if you pull the tension system of the ridgeline hard enough pulling the prusiks will never overcome this tension! 4.the prusiks systems allow you to move the tarp along the ridgeline! this is not possible in your fixed setup!

1) the 9 carabiner's remove the need to tie knots as I said many times in the video some people struggle to learn to tie knots. 2) the amount of tension on the tarp is the same using the 9 carabiner's as it would be with the prusik knots. 3) any and all tension on the prusik knots will ALWAYS alleviate some amount of tension on the ridgeline in the area between the prusik's. and 4) with the 9 carabiners you can in fact adjust where the tarp is along the ridgeline with this set up. CLEARILY you are not thinking about this with an open mind and understanding of the concept in its purpose of showing the use of the 9 carabiners and providing a solution for those that are intimidated by knots or simply want another way of setting up a ridgeline.
