    Hello my friend I would say that the vibration would be due to the motor mounts and engine stay that you altered regards Alan ps I have 3 harleys and the older ones will vibrate more so the engine mounts are more important to try and eliminate some of the vibration.

      Thanks Alan, I agree, I am sure it is the front motor mount now.

    I didn't see you check the endplay on the sprocket shaft.

    I don't think you should have dowles coming up through the (wooden) support, wouldn't you be twisting the lower flywheel, around the crank pin? (while you're drawing the main bearing) Which you've been checking with your straight edge?... Good job though... I don't know if the crank pin on that is splined, I have a 48 Indian chief which isn't (splined) and is torqued to 120 ft/lb....

      Yes, I agree the dowels may not be a good idea. The shovels and the evo's are a tapered crank pin. The newer twin cams and up are a splined crank pin. A lead hammer is the straightening tool used to straighten out the older cranks.
