    You put 100,000 miles on your cars and theyre fine. You lend them to friends and they come back damaged. You have a good attitude about it because I can’t say my reaction would be the same

    This is amazing! Love the contrast of M3P with raised rally spec. Soo cool!

    Suggest you may want to get thinner sway bars so you still have some required control but not too stiff.

    Ugh so hard to see! Kind of wish this was going towards the extreme track version!! None the less, good to see the car is back and looking good (other than the love tap on the right rocker)

    Cars are meant to be used, you’re so generous Kyle and a good friend to your friends.

    I got Model 3 dual motor long range in September 2022 and love it. My only other EV was a new Leaf back in 2013. Charging back then was a complete joke so I did have some anxiety initially with the model 3 but now I am 100% bought into EV's and will most likely only purchase EV's going forward. The Tesla charing network is amazing and I like the long range since my wife and I road trip a lot. The model 3 LR is an amazing road trip car. The extra range allows for fewer charging stops or just gives us more margin if we have to stretch it. Autopilot is a life saver as well. Overall I am amazed and how well the software is in these cars given how young Tesla is as a company compared to other automakers. Maybe this is their advantage.... Less legacy and tradition in design and innovation.

      If i can save enough $ i may buy a Tesla in a few years. But i would want the Model X, S, or Y. I don't like not having an instrument cluster. I like my 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV's dash layout better than the Model 3. I like the instrument cluster in the dash in front of me and the display in the middle.

    YOU GUYS SHOULD NEEEEVER USE AN IMPACT GUN ON THAT TOP SCREW!!
    I am an mecanic that works on shocks and if you're having a bad day, the whole thing can explode on you!
    With an impact, its possible that you losen the inner nut of the damper! With all the spring load on this thing it gets pretty dangerous!
    Edit: The thing that was spinning on you is the piston rod. This should never be spinning fast or anything, because of the already explained reason. Even if the spring is off of it, the damper has internal gas pressure wich can shoot the piston rod out! That thing goes right through a thin peace of metal. It can punch a clean hole into a car door!
    Stay safe guys!

  • @gabem8119
    @gabem8119 Před rokem +4

    Definitely YT mechanics, they didn’t seem to know how to remove/replace a front spring & damper. There’s a lot of compression in those springs, not knowing how to take it off the right way and just winging it is dangerous. Take some time to look up how it’s done, he’s lucky he didn’t get hurt or damage anything.
