#GAC has been making Toyotas in the Chinese market for 20 years now. The GAC GN6 is the premium MPV that the Toyota Innova should be. In this Filipino car review, we check out the 2021 GAC GN6 and see how it stacks up as a premium MPV offering. The GAC GN6 is the smaller minivan than the GAC GN6, and may be a better fir for Filipino families. It goes head to head against the Geely Okavango and the Maxus G50. To a certain extent, it also competes against other 7 seater crossovers like the Chery Tiggo 8 or the Maxus D60. It is more expensive than the Toyota Rush, but is priced at the same level as the 2021 Toyota Innova. It can also compete with the Suzuki XL7, the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, and the Honda BRV.

Reygan... I have been following, watching your reviews for well over a year. Always enjoy your professional reviews. Very informative on many matters serious viewers of perhaos soon buying a new vehicle appreciate. I usually like to watch videos about SUV MPV type vehicles..both 5 and 7 seaters.. but due to concerns of fuel costs lately starting to skyrocket and maybe no relief in site for months/yrs...that makes, aside from comfort and practical/ necessary features for safety.. the fuel economy numbers are really important to take into account!
It has caused me to try exploring videos about decent priced cars. And an interest in general about vehicles...Cars or other types...with hybrid or diesel engines...(Diesel power since here it is cheaper per liter also as well as overall more stingy on consumption) and always with automatic transmissions! One car in particular I'm interested in seeing a video review on seems to not exist for a 2021 or 2022 model. I follow you as well as 4 or 5 other really good posters...some are your personal friends as I've seen you partner with them at times... DRUM ROLL!!!! The Hyundai Accent 1.6 CRDI automatic version.
Hardly any reviews in general on the Accent...and none in depth walk around as well as driving impressions and fuel consumption details. Does Hyundai not like that car to be driven by you guys...let alone a couple days use..?
Can you please make a video review of that top spec version. You'd be "the first on the block" to do so! Let me know what you think, any incites on it in case you know or have driven one...or you will try to set up an appointment to "borrow one" and make a video of your experience...
Thanks for the support! Hyundai PH hasn't contacted me for any vehicle feature yet. I usually rely on dealers for Hyundai videos. But let's see, maybe the new managememt of Hyundai PH may be more open to us independent car reviewers in the future.

All Chinese Carmakers have the best quality in terms of value for money the best features, full of safety, turbo charger engine. But Resale value and hard to look for buyers after 3years of used is the main problem. And also Spare Parts availability are nowhere to be found even in dealer are not always available.

How much is insurance for gac gn6?
never knew about this vehicle im 6 foot 3 inch and i have a 2008 innova v 63,000 km casa maintained and i wanted to up grade to new inova v but front seat area is at my knee on dashboard beccuse toyota made the front seat area smaller than the vios sadly and no heavy duty comfortable seats like my 2008 innova v , my question is Mr. Reygan are the gac larger like the older innova v in the front space seats ? thanks
I havent driven the innova yet, so i can't really compare. But the GN6 is quite spacious and feels more like a minivan than an mpv.
I am a GN6 owner in China. The car for the family is very perfect, it could let 7 people siting comfortable and have a big space for luggage.

This GAC is even better to the top of the line Innova which is much much more expensive.

@@gb3639 no time needed, proven reliability is not the only measuring stick. many people value features, design and value for money more than badge security. This GAC, the Maxus g50, Geely Okavango (which I own), tiggo pro 8 all smoke the Innova in terms of features, design, ride comfort and hence value for money. But yes, brand trust, only time will tell, for Filipinos.

if only the maxus g50 has a conventional AT, this GN6 is more expensive but might save you from the headache of a dry dct (ehem ehem ford dct)

Every Chinese 7 seater is better than the innova
