Loved this song as a kid. Wish these and all the Hanna Babera cartoon songs would come out on CD. The Scooby Doo songs (still incomplete on the cd) that came out were great
So glad you documented this jam. I'll never forget coming home from High School Stoned back in the late 80's(1987ish), and this came on, and it basically changed my philosophy on life at that exact moment.....

Omg! Yes, it would come on during USA Cartoon Express, along with Inspector Gadget, You Can't Do that on Television, and Jem! I was just turning six that year and would watch the entire lineup every late evening with my sister. Gram was ok with Pebbles and Bamm Bamm and Inspector Gadget, but HATED YCDTOT! She thought it would corrupt us lol!
In some episodes.. Hop Skip and Jump video was played with Summer time Girl song...snd still the song matches the video! Meaning any of the bedrock rockers scenes have songs that look and sound interchangeable.
Consider them the stone age rock band before the Archies. I think it's time that the Bedrock Rockers should get their own animated TV series with new songs, new dances, new adventures & new movies. I sure hope that Warner Brothers Animation & Cartoon Network could make them happen very soon. YABBA DABBA DOOZIE TO Y'ALL!

I remember this song from way back, but I still can't make any sense of the lyrics. 1960s pop lyrics tended to be shallow, but at least they were decipherable. This is just sadly garbled.
