I laughed really hard when the video ended right at the number 1 spot, because we don't need any explanation why it's the worst ESC winner of all time.
Well, it’s not the worst winner, because the worst winner is 2011.
why i wanted to hear his views on it he should re-do it
Tbh agreed that it’s the worst one, when I listened to all winners in Eurovision I always skipped this song
unpopulat opinion but i don't mind azerbaijan winning in 2011 not bcos of the song per se but because 2011 was so shit that there were barely any songs that outright deserved to win. my winner that year was lena but even that's an 8/10 at best, everything was so... meh
@@Taylor-oq3gf no the worst one is 2012 and 2023
Didn't know what was the matter with the first one. She sang beautifully. It was like listening to some Italian singer.
Right? A nice song and a nice voice.
I really think your argumentation for these picks is incredibly flawed. This is most definitely your personal opinion, so please put that in the title instead of just proclaiming the these are 'the worst winners', because that's just ignorant; if they were bad, they wouldn't have won. Most of these song were HUGE hits in Europe at the time.
Yeah, lots of well-known songs
So he must have the same opinion as most people?
Niamh Kavanagh was easily the best of winner of the 90s
This and Sonya was a head to head
love shine a light, insieme, diva and fangad beat it imo but it's a great song.
So true, I mean she is somewhere in my top five of all time (winners)
tbh 1989 is one of my favorite entry's maybe even my favorite winner
Really ☺?
Rock me was garbage. UK were robbed.
I love that song tho but i love synth in general
Thank you, I am not alone. But I think the fact Yugoslavia won before its collapse plays an important part in it
your opinion is different than most of the people in the world
What a lovely take.
prostata200 well, do u know most of the people’s in the world opinions? That’s a reach from you.
I agree, most of these songs are well loved. Even the 2002 Latvia and 2011 Azerbaijan winners are good winners, they just had strong competition in that year, which many liked and hence the bad reputation, which makes no sense.
@@Steven-hq4mb well at least he's going with other's collective opinions than that reviewer who only judged by himself out of hate jealousy they won something.
I agree with all choices except ding-a-dong. It was a world wide hit and it’s a decent song.
EDIT: I thought that ding-a-dong was the no.1. So I didn’t watch the whole video at first but you can not put dva on this list
Edit 2: I completely agree with you on no.1, it’s the worst song I have ever herd
Ding-a-Dong is the best Eurovision song ever?
Structure: Verse-Chorus Same Verse-(Same) Chorus Bridge Same Verse-Chorus.
Guess I'm thinking too much when I'm listen to music.
EBHAE I think so too
One funny thing here is that you have successfully created a double paradigm.
The first one is pretty obvious you say an opinion with a question mark, which may mean irony, may mean that it's a real question (not as likely though), but it can also and more likely mean that it's so obvious, as a da-question.
On the second statement you may mean, that you can either agree with my opinion (first line), or that you agree that I'm thinking too much about it (second line).
Due to your subscription: I go with Irony and first line. :)
@@ebhae199 that doesn't necessarily make a song terrible, that is just your opinion.
@@ebhae199 You definitely don't know the meaning or purpose behind the lyrics.
Wow! It’s really interesting to hear your opinion! I personally love most of these songs, but I completely respect your opinion. You brought out some great points. Overall great video!!
Judging fake, childlessly is not great points.
Especially with Fangad av en stormvind because he didnt even notice(i guess) that it was a tie and won because she got more 12 points i believe
And the idiot can't spell Energy.
@@flopjul4581 more 10s, they got the same 12 points. france would have won under today's system (ie country with most juries giving it at least 1 point wins). i think israel were actually in the lead for 95% of it and sweden were nowhere near for a while before they got back in it (i would watch the voting procedure but i can't bear myself to watch the shitshow of toto cutugno and gigliola cinquetti trying to host a show in a 3rd language and show zero knowledge of english or french). they went next to each other in the running order as well, which i founda kinda funny
Noooo. Yugoslavia from 1989 is great! You can't critisize one line from the song if you don't understand the rest of it. Anyways I don't agree with most of the list but I appreciate that you are trying to make points.
Best List: czcams.com/video/LaVC74NtHgA/video.html

I would say your opinion is more uncommon than mine, maybe just because you understand the language.
Supreme Lord of the Dark World Never mind the chorus (one line of the song) , even if you don't understand a single word the song itself is just incredibly repetitive and bland. There's no great hook, no change of key, no memorable lines, no finesse, nothing. It's not bad, it's not good. It's just so middle-of-the-road bland. It's ironic Yugoslavia won with one of their worst entries because they had several decent songs and a few good ones over the years.
"You can't critisize one line from the song if you don't understand the rest of it." Yes, you can because it's judged by the music first and foremost. And listen, I very much doubt the rest of the lyrics were in the Bob Dylan class of lyrics.
And while commercial success perhaps isn't the most fair way to judge the quality of music one can easily make the argument that the Eurovision mostly appeals to a "commercial crowd" (and has received both a lot of deserved and undeserved flak for it). Unlike most other of these winners listed here Yugoslavia's 1989 ESC winner was a commercial flop everywhere else but in Yugoslavia. What I'm trying to say is that it didn't chart anywhere in Europe. And from what I've read the band didn't last very long in Yugoslavia either and split up after two years.
Johnny Logan's 1987 winner was number 1 in two countries and number 2 in four another countries. It was a top-10 hit in 11 European countries. Celine Dion charted in 6 countries. Italy's 1990 winner charted in 8 countries. I never liked the 1991 Swedish winner either but at least it charted in 6 European countries. Linda Martin's 1992 winner for Ireland charted in 8 countries. I can go on.
Before you judge me I'll say that I consider Estonia's 2001 winner the worst, closely followed by Latvia's 2002 winner. They nearly killed the ESC altogether. Azerbaizdjan's 2011 winner should never have won but it wasn't bad. Never liked Russia's 2008 winner even though Dima Bilan has a lot of talent and charisma as an artist.
@@ebhae199 I really like this song as well haha, didnt know it was uncommon because I am not in the Eurovision game
my heart!!
I'm from the Netherlands!!
Oh so ur also being disrespectful to countries. Wtf is wrong with u?? Bad list
I hate Azerbeijan winning song and I hate Dima Bilans winning
I did not like Portugal 2017
#10 Ireland 1993 = YES I cannot remember this song. Not unpleasant but very old style. Not really a fan of it.
#9 Sweden 1991 = YES awful song. France had a beautiful song, they got the same result, the same score of 12 points but eventually the worst one won
#8 Israel 1978 = NOOO are you kidding? This song was amazing. Don’t forget that in the seventies and eighties, all songs had the same style. Didn’t age well but it was perfect for the last 70s. Sound quality was bad because has been filmed 40 years ago. If the singing is unclear for you it’s because they sang in Hebrew, it’s not “mumble”, is a language.
#7 Ireland 1980 = YES I agree, very boring song, Johnny Logan won again some years later with a much better song
#6 United Kingdom 1997 = NOOOO I TOTALLY DISAGREE with your choice. One of the most iconic winners in Eurovision’s history. She repeats herself and the choir is always similar? Welcome to Eurovision! Nobody cares about the lyrics, 90% are simple and cheesy.
#5 Yugoslavia 1989 = YES, YES you are right, probably one the worsted winners in Eurovision’s history.
#4 The Netherlands 1975 = NO, NO I TOTALLY DISAGREE! This song is a legend in Eurovision’s History. Don’t forget it was in the middle of the seventies, this was Eurovision’s style. Same feeling as Israel ranked #8.
#3 Israel 1998 = NO, NO, WHY? Don’t touch Dana International. You probably ignore that the most passionate Eurovision’s fans are gays. Dana is not a woman, she was the first transgender winning the competition.
#2 Latvia 2002= YES not my favorite
#1 Azerbaijan 2011 = YES not my favorite either
Well about Dana international mate, we judge the song, not whatever you identify as
Katrina & The Waves - Love shine a light is real winner, their song is so wonderful.
I like also Dana Internetional 'Diva'.
As for me the worst winner is Netta 2018 with stuped song 'Toy'
Toy is for me a bottom half song that was preferable over Cyprus Beyonce Wanna-be. My problem with Catrina is that I have such a hard time with lazy writing and two verses and choruses that are exactly to the notes the same is for me lazy writing.
Best list: czcams.com/video/LaVC74NtHgA/video.html
ESC Channel: czcams.com/channels/riBIxZC8b0X9EWkA_sJoKQ.html
Turkey 1997 was much more good than Uk
@@ebhae199 Lazy writing for Catrina's song? wtf.... ok. And what is Toy about then? Some deep meaningful lyrics right there, right? LOL, stop trying to be a music expert or smth, you dont understand music, you dont understand Eurovision. Ou and btw Cyprus wasnt a Beyonce wannabe just because she danced well and had good choreography.
I liked Netta very much instead
@@anilhandro and UK 1998 was better than Israel
I like the fact that you have something good to say about every song... and the fact that this was uploaded today and doesn't Include Salvador Sobral... Makes me like it even more...
Kudos for not liking Dana as much as I do
haha true
Drama All Around I mean, most of Ireland's winner were mediocre and shitty, Calm down it's my opinion...
I absolutely love Dana but her song isn’t THAT great. And yeah, the Salvador thing is overdone, I feel like most people who hate it just won’t sit through a slow song.
No Estonia 2001?? That was easily the most shocking win in Eurovision history. Norway's 1995 winner was incredibly short and bland too - as if it was composed to be an intro theme to a tv series. And Ireland's 1996 winner really was a "singing fairy" too many.
Also, there's no way the 1975 winner (Netherland's - and a deserving winner) is *worse* than Yugoslavia's 1989 bland bagatelle.
What's the 2000th century?? We're just in the 21st today and the 20th century was the 1900's.
Norway's 1995 winning song was a masterpiece wdym
You really have no taste...
Ok, please give me your list so you have something to back your argument up. Remember, since 1970.
@@ebhae199 I will not forgive you for mocking my country remember.
Oi Katrina and the waves is a masterpeice
Where is Portugal 2017?????

JCH Walthamstow having different opinions is not a problem, the problem is when people like you don’t understand it.
10. Not really bad, but this is not catchy
9: this is pretty meh, just meh
8: i know hebrew, and this is the "B" lang. Ababnibi obhben abobtbabh= ani oheb otah and this is i love you
7: this is good! And i even think this is better than johnny logan 1987 win
6: this is alright
5: this is in my top 20 winners
4: this is one of the best winners ever! How dare you?
3: yes, this is the worst israel winner, but this not so bad
2: ok i agree
2011: decent
What’s wrong in diva and i wanna be
Wow some of the greatest winners of all time in there!!!!
why did you cut out number 1 after 3 seconds wanted to hear your views on it
Yugoslavia won because the country almost ended
5:20 why? thats one of my fovourites
Ps: dere gjorde det bra i år Sverige, En hilsen fra norge
First I have to make one thing clear. The only song I really hate on this list is No: 1, all the other songs I can easily respect that other people likes.
But I like when songs have a big variation and has a clear structure with different verses. Therefore I can not ignore a song that does the exact same thing three times with just one small stick between the 2nd and third. That is just to much laziness for me.
Ps: Om du är från Norge kanske du också vill testa mina politik videor på svenska och om du tycker om dom har du ingen anledning till att inte prenumerera.
EBHAE Ок, i'm sorry but, Diva is a really great song. I respect your opinion, but atleast other people Love it, and you ruined their contration on the song.
Maybe I was a bit to hard on it. But I think that the best society is the one were we are honest and shares ideas. And it´s my "job" to try to convince you with the best and funniest arguments I can found.
(This is more important when I talks about politics but I think the principles should be the same.)
I like all of those songs but in particular Johny Logan's "what's another year" is one of my favorites of all time, definitely has a special place in my heart.
(Not from the UK, so I didn't even know the song that well growing up, I just discovered it a few years ago and it made it into my favorites playlist)
And you left out that horrible 1979 Winning song?? This was the worst ever in my opinion.
Can agree on Rock me, Viva la vida, Latvia 2002 and Running Scared as terrible winners.
2:07 He is singing in Hebrew... it's not supposed to be clear to you. Hebrew not similliar at all to any european language (SRY for bad spelling)
Fine, but the microphone still sucks.
That's not his fault
Therefore I wrote "But France, you could have done a better job" :)
But I still have to judge, how the song sounded on stage.
I would say im an esc super fan but im probably the only one that has running scared as their favouirte eurovision song of all time. To me its literal perfection i just dont understand the hate :(
the dislike for it. But in my case it's probably hate.
I agree with everything except 1978 & 1993 of which I would replace with 2018 and 1999 or 2008
100% i'd stick 2018 and 2008 in there, 3rd and 1st respectively in the worst winner list for me. i'd probably stick linda martin in there as well
@@pn2360noo linda martin deserved it, but i did wish that Terminal 3 won
10. No way. It's a wonderful song, my all-time ESC top 10.
9. I am not fond of it, either. I prefer 'Främling' by far.
8. Not a masterpiece, but this was the mainstream kind of music at that time.
7. I am allergic to it and to his 1987 winning song. His whining makes me sick.
6. Not the best song I've ever heard, not the worst one, either.
5. I remember my disappointment when it won.
4. Quite OK for me.
3. I can live without it.
2. It's forgettable, but not actually bad.
1. The Serbian song should have won that year. But if you are against hetero normative messages, you should like your No. 3 :).
Thank you for a valued comment.
I kind of regret my comment on Diva because I didn´t really reflect about that she/he? (Wich one is it) were Trans. (My mom told me so, but she said it so fast that I didn´t thought about what that mean) And I can respect that she takes so much space to spread the great message even though I in general hates self focused people.
The number 10 is like I said my least worst since 1970 and I have always thought about it as a (in general) song that is on the bottom half of ESC winners. Maybe I´m wrong.
Tastes are not wrong or right. They are different, that's all. And there is absolutely nothing wrong or right about being gay, straight, trans or whatever. That's the way you were born. Dana's being transsexual does not make her songs better or worse just like my favourite songs are not better or worse just because they are performed by gay or straight people. You sing with your vocal chords, not with your sex. My remark about Dana was just a joke. By the way, I just have realized that only 4 items in my all-time ESC top 10 are winners, the highest placed one being ranked 3rd. Just another proof that not all winning songs are the most impressive ones.
What I regret was not my placement of Diva, what I regret was my comment. "Please use it to sing instead of being sexy..." and "Because I dislike when people are just self focused." I should at least have framed it different.
But my placement would have bin the same.
Personally, I do not see anything improper in your comment. And I dislike people singing about 'me, myself and I' all the time, either. This is, among other things, why the Italian song was my favourite ESC entry this year; it is about our society, not about how the lyricist feels.
Latvia in 2002 should be number one on this list, and you seem to have forgotten the awful entry by Russia's Dima Bilan in 2008. He could be number two on the list. I applaud you for bringing Azebaijan in 2011 up there, but I might put that in third place. An awful trio, these winners.
No "Heroes"? It's the worst winner of all-time... I just hate that song and all the fakery in the performance, yikes!
Its very bad. A lousy song.
Agree with most of them. Although there are others even worse IMO. The unmelodic fashion/light shows crap from the last decade for example. And Finland 2006. 😢
No way bro put israel 1978 entry in their.
worst songs 1. Tattoo -Loreen nonsingle 12 points from the jury, public votes wanted Finland, also Jamala in 2016: Jury winner Australia, public votes winner Russia
1975 is literally my 2nd fave winner in the esc history i'm
Johnny Logan's song reminds me a little of "Reflections of my life" by Marmalade.
Worst ESC Winners = Old songs.
i screamed no louder with each entry. i mean some i agreed with espcially no. 1 (Germany was standing RIgHt ThErE) but i love lativia 2002 and netherlands 1975
My taste :
10 : Good but not a winning song
09 : Good as well but France instead for the victory
08. Outdated but good in 1978
07. I'm not fond of him either
06. You're right in your comments but very good tune, deserved victory
05. Don't like it, how could it win... I'm still wondering
04. Same as 08.
03. I like the song
02. Same as 05.
01. Not a winner at all
Sounds like you mostly agree with me, especially when the only song I truly hate is number one.
Be sure to check out my Best ESC winners as well. Link in the description.
It doesn't matter whether one or two people dislike it.
"how could it win" it can bruh. Ur opinion is not important to Eurovision
@@tsarvic1918 I wrote it was just my taste ... My opinion matter or doesn't more than yours
1:53 Thats the audio of those years.
2:08 just put translation instead of saying-Rsndom Noices.
you so wrong,Check yourself aiagn please thank you.
No that's not the audio "of those years". That's the audio of that specific year, Israel was worse than most and I can't look away for how awful it sounds. The audio in the 50s sounded better.
@@ebhae199 you cant say israel sucks
aay it to those who were responsble for the AUDIO and btw
its Super Great.
your comments are so on point!
NOT DANA INTERNATIONAL IN THE TOP 3
I agree it's not a GREAT song in the truest sense, but it has so many camp/drag qualities. It's a transgender singer, singing a disco song, about powerful women in history, in the ESC. You can't get more gay and camp than that. And it's so catchy. I love "Diva" just for that.
10. i love this to bits, an actually very good irish win for once
9. please don't use the "what if it competed today" rhetoric. there's no point - different eras, different songs. this stands out in its own, vibrant way and i love it (prefer framling but both songs are my winners both years)
8. i think hallelujah is more overrrated than this but i don't really like both
7. this is such a snoozefest idk how it won. hold me now is WAY clear
6. british bias maybe but this is a classic and a masterpiece. simplicity done to perfection
5. ... i love it??
4. yeah no this is rapidly growing off me
3. fantastic song, what can i say. i love disco
2. no-one can deny that this only won because of the staging and the dance routine. which is fair enough, 2002 was a shit year, but the song itself is shockingly bad. my 2nd worst winner of all time behind russia 08
1. i love how you just ended the video and didn't need to explain anything lol. personally 2011 was so awful that there weren't any songs that deserved to win necessarily, so i don't mind it that much
I'm from the UK love shine a light was our last ever win and I personally love it but I doubt we will ever win again heck I was shocked that we managed to come second this year but tbh he was the best artist we've had represent us since Katrina and the Waves
1989 Uk should've won it, maybe it was a slow year, even the singer of live report was not happy
Latvian entry was good. Same with Netherlands and Israel (DI).
This was going pretty well I reckon until Diggyloo Diggy*******ley failed to materialise at number 1.
I have some funny news, basically for number 9 the voting system skipped the part where you count how many countries voted for u so nowadays France would have won lol
Yes, not only would France have won by today's standards, it should have. But this was before the first countries used televoting, I think that the public would have pushed Feance ahead, if some countries would have tested televote already.
You have completely different taste, but I respect it. But I am surprised as well. Ireland 1993 is the best Irish winner for me. I agree with Sweden 1991 and Yugoslavia 1989, but the worst winners for me are: Ireland 1992, Ireland 1996 and above all Spain 1968!
Riva’s lyrics maybe stupid but first the music is AMAZING. And second, the fact the Yugoslavia won just “seconds” before the bloody war is so, idk, but when I hear this happy song with the knowledge of why happens just 2 years later is such an emotional roller coaster.
That true for the arguably better song the Yugoslavia sent next year, it adds such an emotional layer to the silly song. And maybe I shouldn’t judge the song by things that happen later but I can’t.
Also we have to remember this was the first Eurovision after the fall of The Berlin Wall. So I guess a fun and optimistic song was just what European needed at that point. And for that Rock me baby was perfect. It’s was the perfect for the time.
Also it’s so poetic that it’s from a communist country (although not Stalinist) so it really is the perfect song for the time.
Edit: About Dive I guess you aren’t queer. If so you can’t understand the importance of this song.
Also yesterday I watched esc 2011 out of boredom. And and still, 12 years later I shouted at the TV When Azerbaijan won. It’s so STUPID. Lena should have when for the second time!!!!
for me the worst winner is 2017
The worst winners for me are Estonia 2001, Russia 2008, Germany 2010 and, of course, Azerbaijan 2011. Latvia 2002 was a bop and also one of the most game changing performances if you look at the 2003-2005 winners.
I unironically like Russia 2008 and Estonia 2001. My favourite winner is in 2017 ofc ❤️❤️❤️
your saying the Irish Eurovision song was to old school that was the type of music back then.
No I'm saying that I have no dam clue why I dislike it.
Fine I know you dislike 2002 Latvia but idk what’s your problem with her, yeah the song isn’t the best lyrics aren’t the best but still it’s interasting
2010...
Finally that has the same opinion with me!
I completely agree with your Top 3!
i only agreed to 1 song in that list lol and uk entry should have been up there with the best
How can you criticise Ireland 1993 for being screams and then not have turkey 2003 on here at all? If you want to talk about out of pitch and screaming to hit notes out of her vocal range then that’s the one…….
My opinion (1970 to 2022)
1. GERMANY 1982
2. Sweden 1991
3. Sweden 1984
4. Ireland 1970
5. Ireland 1980
6. Russia 2008
7. Ireland 1987
8. Ireland 1996
9. Sweden 1999
10. Monaco 1971 or Luxembourg 1972, have to listen to the whole songs
Most of them are just here, bc they sound dated to modern ears and didn't age well
My top 10
01 2009
02 2008
03 2002
04 2001
05 2004
06 2005
07 2015
08 1980
09 2006
10 1984
I love Yugoslavia but agree fully with all the others
I agree with you on lavita
Worst is 2016 Australia deserved the title
I have to completely disagree with you… when judging a song on if its a good winner or not you have to consider when it won and its competitors, not if it would do well now or how repetitive it is…
10. Really like it
9. I agree, généric. France should have won, especially since they had the same number of votes
8. I did not realize the mic problem, this is the only Israël winner I appreciate tbf
7. Agree on it being overrated
6. Same as above this is plain.
5. I could be the only one who love it then 😅 I find it very uplifting
4. UK should have won
3. Agree
2. Still better than Estonia the year before
1. Haha love how you cut without argumentation
People become happy when you say good things about their country, their songs, their singers, their victories of their favorite winner(s) or entrees.
Everybody is so different.
And it's possible you really loved a song in 1972, but today you don't like it anymore. It's sometimes dangerous to say what you 'hate'. It can make people sad or angry. Maybe I'm the only one in the world who really doesn't like 'Poupée de cire, poupée de son (Lux 65) and Satellite (D 10). More people understand me when I say I don't like 'Rock me' (YU 89), 'Hard rock hallelujah' (FIN 06) and 'Running scared' (AZ 11). But I love from the same countries: 'Blackbird' (FIN 17), 'Où sont-elles passées' (LUX 64), 'Im Wartesaal zum grossen Glück' (D 56), 'Dan Ljiubezni' (YU 75) and 'Drip drop' (AZ 09).
you think you're the only one who hates satellite?? that song has a literal hate club with at least 1 million members (of which i'm defo not a member of, it's my 8th favourite song of all time lol, but it has a LOT of haters)
7:52 Scary pic i did 0.25 in Slowmotion
Spore Gamer oh shit the hands on the walll
Mine worst winners,toy,stefania,amar pelos dois,running scared,satellite,jamalas song
Don’t worry some Azerbaijanians themselves hate running scared 😂😂😂
Fair enough assessment. "Rock me Baby" must've been a really weak year
Ummm...disagree. "In your eyes" and "Fångad av en stormvind" are one of my favs!!! I agree only on Latvia, 2002 and maybe The Netherlands, 1975.
france should've won in 1991.
In your eyes is my favorite winner! But I can understand why people don't like it
I liked....
Love Shine A Light, Ding A Dong, A-Ba-Ni-Bi
The rest were pure, unadulterated shit.
I agree that Azerbaijan was a very unworthy winner, the two mediocre singers were just so fake & cheesy.
😡😡😡
7:52 am i crazy or there is a strange photo??
No you are not crazy. You are very skilled. I have a horror picture their to make people unconsciously hate the song even more.
I don´t know if it´s legal and I certainly don´t know if it´s work.
But respect to you to be the first one to see it (and comment about it)
I largely agree but nothing matches the awful Amor pelos Dois. UK commentary kept repeating that the frail looking singer had health problems. Sympathy vote!
Azerbaijan 2011 is the worst You are right Sweden had to a winner in this year
Azerbaiijan shall be the worst ESC winner all time? That´s nonsens. The song is perhaps not a bull´s eyes but it´s OK. Other will be more worst. Anyway: The ESC 2011 was one of the best ESC ever!
As an Azerbaijani I agree and I won't forgive these who mock my country. Yes, 2011 is by far the best.
I hate Fairytale. It hurts my ears
You forgot Estonia 2001... I mean...what the actual fuck.
Johnny Logan he is eurovision loyalty
Before I say anything, you have the full right to an opinnion, however wrong it may be. Two are the song I personally am going to defend, Mr. Logan, for his beatifull voice, and yes, songs are ment to be easy, catchy and memorable. The second song I personally feel obliged to defend is Miss Dana International, not for her voice qualities, but for her personal statment, and the political role she took in this competitation, she is the first trans woman to win and to put all different type of people on the map of Europe, and the World. The same can not be said for you however, although I do have to spend some time writting this lovely coment. Enjoy your day, and may the best Eurovision song contest win!
And you unwittingly sum up why this contest no longer has anything to do with music but is simply another demonstration of how European politics always results in a cobbled together third rate “winner.”
WHERE IS 2017 WINNER
It´s on the bottom half, but even if I think it´s kind of boring, it´s also kind of beatuful and have the nice plus of being in own language, in our era. Also I wanted to upload just after the competition and was prepared for Sweden but not Portugal :).
Check out my best list, if you like praise more than shitting.

You forgot one of the worst eurovision winners. Lena with Satellite...
P'tit Merdeux totally agree.
Agree. maNga - We Could Be The Same should have won that year.
The song wasn’t that bad, though. I don’t think it deserved to win, especially over Turkey, but I don’t think it was that bad either
👍
P'tit Merdeux oh come on, she did send a greater song the next year which should have won instead and quite frankly, Satellite is far from being the worst
Hola, un saludo desde España. Te dejo las que me gustan mas. :Irlanda 1980, U.K 1997, Holanda 1975, Israel 1998, Letonia 2002,
I disagree with every song except sweden 1999. This are the best songs ever! Your opinion but this was a weird choise
I agree with most of these...Runnning Scared (political voting?) as well as Katrina and the Waves ("one little clusterfuck" LOL!) needed to be called out.
Disagree about Carola and Ding-A-Dong, your video actually introduced me to the latter, and hey, I like those harmonies! Not like Katrina at all IMO.
Mon Mothma I think the point in Azerbaijian 2011 is that there was no clear favorite and the points were very evenly spread out between all the countries. I mean, if you compare its pointscore to some of the other winners, it's extremely low (it could easily have been on 4th place or even lower in some other competition)...
Tilen Burnik You may well be correct. As far as I can remember, there were no runner-ups that many people thought should have won instead, which probably supports what you say. Just an all around weak year then...
Azerbaijan bought votes in 2011
teach in was really bad and i still wonder how it managed to won.
israel 1978 and 1979 were boring af and i honestly can't believe they won.
listen, i love carola she seems cute and all but her song wasnt it. amina was way better.
in your eyes was great but its not a winning song.
johnny logan is handsome and all but hold me now was better.
love shine a light was a bop.
rock me was catchy but not a winning song
israel 1998 won only because she was transgender. the song is good and the initiative was great but not a winning song
latvia 2002 won't pass the semi today lmao
i like running scared but its not a winning song
edit: i said "its not a winning song" too much lmao
I would love to see your comment on my Best list.
@@ebhae199 why?
Because it would be nice to see if you agree as much on the other side of the spectrum:

Great job!
Greetings from Portugal
I agree with 3 and 1 so much!
Finally someone that agree with NR:3, that is by my comments probably the most liked.
Check out my other three ESC lists with the exact same format and if you like them all, please Subscribe to me or my separate ESC channel were I only upload my ESC videos.
Estonia 2001?
Ukraine 2016???
A copy passed answer. Jamala is one of the songs I like to listen to the least but I decided to be immune from this list, because it´s a impressive way of singing that I´ve never heard before (even if it´s repeating as hell) and therefor I can not fairly criticize it without feeling like a evil person. Also I like the English verses.
Hope you check out my new list of ESC songs of the 50s and 60s and subscribe to either me or my ESC channel if you like these kinds of commented lists.
Well we all have our own opinions but personally i lived Ireland 1980 and 1993 and Israel 1978, plus ding a dong is a banger
Same thing with The 2nd song from Israel
