I don't get why you have so many songs from the 50s and 60s here. A lot of those songs were dull and uninteresting, but they were rarely actively terrible. The real treasure trove of shit entries is the early 2000s. I mean the winners from 2001 and 2002 are seriously worse than the majority of these songs. And have you seen UKs 2003 entry? what?! Frida Bocarra at number 1 ?! She's legend. I would never have picked songs from black and white eurovision as the worst ever made. You can call them boring but there is quality behind them, same with Frida Bocarra. I know far worse songs than those.
I started watching this video with other expectations...and I was disappointed..I know that those are all time songs,but I saw too many ancient songs..for them I have no opinion...cause I don't know them..maybe I could say that they are bad, only because they are ancient.. At first I passively liked it, but I've really grown to like it, especially due to the fact that she had laryngitis, still performed really well that night even with the laryngitis, and honestly how beautiful the song sounds! This one isn't very well-liked though, it's a huge guilty pleasure. - 25 (Eva Sršen - Pridi, dala ti bom cvet - Yugoslavia 1970) Another guilty pleasure... the song's so sweet, I can't help but like it. I love her voice, although it isn't my winner of 1970! - 21 (Anita Traversi - I miei pensieri - Switzerland 1964) The fact that this sweet ballad got nul points astounds me, the lyrics and her voice are so incredibly beautiful. Not my winner of 1964 because it was such a strong year, but I've grown to adore this song. It's such a beautiful song, and I don't know why I like it so much. Usually I'm not a fan of voices like hers, but I love this one!! My third favorite Italian entry. - 11 (Josh Dubovie - That Sounds Good To Me - UK 2010) Yeah, I love recent UK entries and this isn't an exception. It's so dated, but I'm a fan of older music, so I can't help but like it. It was a breath of fresh air in 2010, a very intense year tbh, and it's my 2nd place! - 10 (Jade Ewen - It's My Time - UK 2009) Now I'm not as passionate about this one as others, but I really think it's a great entry. I love her voice. - 5 (Lill Lindfors & Svante Thuresson - Nygammal vals - Sweden 1966) This song's so ridiculous, and an extreme guilty pleasure. Not much else to say about this one. - 1 (Frida Boccara - Un jour, un enfant - France 1969) 1969 is one of my favorite years, and was full of great entries!! This one really isn't an exception, but I understand why you don't like it. This kind of music really isn't for everyone, but it's my 2nd favorite of the 4 winners that year. I agree with you until the video reached the 10th, "It's my time" was the first Eurovision song I heard in my life! It was that masterpiece brought me to this unique song contest! It didn't deserve that horrible "honour"! The similar thing also goes to "Kuula", it was my runner up in 2012 Eurovision song contest after United Kingdom (Euphoria was my 8th), it was a masterpiece as well! You didn't mention Israel 2000, Lithuania 2002, Switzerland 2004 and Georgria 2012. Georgia 2010 and Estonia 2012 are at worst decent songs and imo top 20 of the 2010s.
