Ya do know for a lot of people these aren't budget scopes, these are the best they are ever going to get because any higher doesn't fit in their economic reality 🤔

Yeah, awesome Arken scopes. I bought two Arken scopes from one of your previous reviews.
You should toss in the Bushnell Match Pro. All the of those scopes are widely used for NRL22 and NRL22X matches. Great videos thanks

@@TiborasaurusRex gotcha. Thanks man. I picked one up for around $750 a couple of weeks ago, and so far it seems very well made. I love the JVCR reticle. Not the biggest fan of the fact that it's put together in China, but I'm working on a budget, and it fits the parameters I was looking for.. so here we are.
Side note: I know someone who works as a machinist for a local firearms manufacturer near me. Once upon a time US optics was outsourcing the machine work for scope tubes and turret components to my buddies company. He was saying they had pallets of components waiting to be purchased but USO left them hanging and shortly after started conducting business overseas. Probably explains why they seem to have been going down hill lately.
This is the best review of these scopes. Would buy Arken EP5 they dont sell to Australia.

Great tracking review!! I would like to see the same test on the Arken ep5 vs the tract toric uhd vs the nightforce nxs. All in different price ranges however It would prove/confirm a lot of debate on the quality and markup of these different level scopes that constantly come up in these debates, the arken ep5 is looking better and better. Thank you Rex!
They still make the NXS? I thought the nx8 basically replaced that. That said I have an NXS 3.5-15 and just bought an SH4. To my eyes the NXS looks better but not 4-5x better. The difference is minimal. It's nice that we have a bunch of choices from budget friendly to budget breaking.
@@bmstylee they do still make the nxs models. I was just wanting to see a TRACKING comparison between the scopes to see if it’s worth the extra cost.

Dones anyone know if the old vortex vipers track accurately? I didn't see them ever show up on Rex's old videos. Assumed that meant he found error in them.

I greatly appreciate your time in testing and no nonsense translation into what we are going to see in practice. I was surprised regarding the Vortex in the fact that you get a bunch of clicks at the end of travel with no effect. My eyes are not those of young man anymore, so the large font embossing, ladder under the knobs and very positive audible tactile report are plusses for me.

So weird that here in Australia the venom is $630 and the ep5 is $1200.
Same here in Europe. Just way to expensive. You can buy viper PSt gen 2 for that price or the strike eagle plus the scope mounts.

Man whatever has happened to Vortex? I remember when you spent a Vortex dollar, you got at least a dollar of value and quality. If you buy any of the affordable line from these guys, it is a total crap shoot nowadays. That's pretty sad because they used to be so much better than they are now. I would get the Arken and not look back. They deserve my dollar. I'll be buying one for my daughter this winter. Thanks Rex!

Arken works for less. I can’t shoot for sh!t but Arken works in low light for meat
Neither scope I wouldn't buy, but given a choice the Arken , it get the buy; better turret adjustments. Neither has quality glass I need for my 70 years old eyes.
