Ironically I feel this was more romantic than your typical lovey dovey stuff like whatever bridgerton is. I don't watch such shows or lifetime, etc. Because nothing shows love more than showing you care. They both literally fought for each other, protected each other, sacrificed for each other. If that's not love, idk what is. You can say you love someone, you can say you care but when it comes down to it. It's the actions and having each other's back through thick and thin that really proves it. Peter and rose had that strong bond and loved how they wrote their characters in this show and relation to each other

I loved this relationship because their love was gradual and subtle with glances, not overly saccharin displays of affection.
I love that she wasn't some damsel in distress or secretly good at kung fu or smth. She was competent in her field and they both knew their limitations
I think both kinds of love portrayed serve their purpose :)
this is one of the best netflix surprises..I kept ignoring the recomendation until I said ok, lets give it a go and found such a great series!

You edited this really well. I believe there is to be a season two with how it ended and I read it's gonna be filmed soon and debut 2024. Rose better be in it ha. I know movies aren't real, but man as a single man, it makes me sad. I'm like I wish to meet a woman to cares and supportive like Rose. This was a great show and I like how they played this out with peter and Rose. I didn't come or show much signs until later which made sense since they were fighting for survival so that was the main thing. But I knew there was going to be something eventually. They are both young, good looking, the trust and reliance they've had to have for each other and did. Always being close and so much to create a deep bond and intimacy. Not to mention the high stakes and stress and suspense, that much high intensity shared with each other. I'd think would create strong emotions and like tension between each other where I just felt an attraction or romance would develop at some point
Unfortunately you are likely wrong considering the ACTRA strike is ongoing. Many shows that would have been released in 2024 might not come out until 2025 or later. Hope the actors get the deal they deserve soon.

@@miamiman24 The writers guild has reached a tentative deal, so hopefully the writers can start working on scripts again soon. However ACTRA is still fully on strike so we will be lucky if we can see a new season of any show in 2025, possibly 2026. Perhaps streaming services can use foreign language content meanwhile like K dramas or reality shows?
