Their scenes are literally the best in the show. The chemistry is insane! Even those emotional fights (the one in the rain is my fave). Can we just point out the fact that it is blatantly obvious that Jackie likes Cole from the start, and Alex knows that. Yet he’s still going after a girl who has feelings for his brother and vice versa. None of them are perfect in this scenario.

The end is amazing. Loved it. She loved hil from the beginning, but couldn't admit it, because he wasn't the one she wanted to fall for. But she did, because she saw behind his fassade. ❤
He will cheat on her😂 she just too dumb and too young to realize it smh. Can’t say she doesn’t deserve to have her heart smashed like the teapot. Would be satisfying. She used Alex to get Cole and then ran because of guilt of facing her consequences of her actions. Dating brothers 🤮🤮🤮
The end is amazing? They're cheating. She's literally cheating on a boy who told her he loved her only a few hours earlier and he's stealing his brother's girlfriend after specifically swearing that he'd never deliberately do sth like this to him. What they did is shameful, not amazing.

A lot of people didn't like the ending but for ONCE I liked an ending and on top of that, an open ending, let me explain : the thing is, Jackie first chose to be with Alex because he seemed like the guy who was the greenest flag and with her character, (a person who likes to do everything right and hates things that are distracting like she said in the series) , she tought she made the best decision. Throughout the whole season; she kept looking back on Cole and then back at Alex, thinking she made the right choice; but she kept falling for Cole as his character improved and as she started to know him better and better. And I get why she was confused since Cole was so frustrating and hard to see through as he made it always hard for people to see the good side of him AND at the end she realised she loved Cole after everything that happened and the vase of her sister fixed by Cole was the last straw for her so she ended up giving to her feelings which were so overwhelming and distracting and the reason why she resisted to them for so long. Concerning the end, I think it was the best decision she could make since, after all she went there after the loss of her family and she just wanted to find herself again and make sense of her life but then she gets caught up in another big ass drama which could destroy the Alex/Cole brother relationship which she wanted to avoid (esp since they just finally reconciled) SO, I get why they ended it like this. To end, I think it was a great show and the last scene was EPIC, I think Jackie & Cole did a great job at acting 👌
(PS: I truly hated Cole at first since he was so fuckboyish & annoying but then he got better, THANKFULLY)

She left because she is inlove with Cole and was from the beginning. Cole and jackie have a connection and can hold conversations together and understand each other. Alex is boring no sparks with Alex.. he is pushing
Surprisingly, I enjoyed this show a lot! I love how we got a lot of Jackie/Cole but also the other Walter brothers as well.. something we didn’t get from “The Summer I Turned Pretty.” Everyone had their own struggles, their own charms, their own personalities.. I enjoyed getting to know each characters. I also love Katherine and George for being such great parents! I really hope that we will get at least a Season 2… but knowing Netflix, I am doubtful.
With that being said, I think Cole and Jackie were attracted to each other from the beginning.. he was kind and thoughtful of her without anyone telling him to.. (approaching her in the cafeteria on her first day, taking the teapot and gluing it back together, calling her when Nathan was in the hospital, offering himself for auction, etc) - those were all gestures of LOVE.. something that Alex did not do. Jackie denied her feelings for Cole and got with Alex because he was the safer choice… she didn’t tell him she loved him back because she doesn’t. It’s COLE… and we need a Season 2!!! Team Jackie/Cole, Kylie/Alex, and Erin/Daniel lol

How was he a better brother. Alex and Jackie were still together. He just betrayed his brother for the second time. But this time he did it knowingly. After just telling his brother he would never knowingly betray him. At least Jackie understood how much he would be hurt when he found out....

It's so cute I get heart flutters with this show because its so real and true and the romance and tention beyween her and Cole You know it's there.
Honestly the show was very safe and predictable but these two had such amazing chemistry it literally was the best thing about season 1, I really hope it gets at least a season 2 so 1. She can face the music and tell Alex what she and Cole did before she left and 2. Her and Cole relationship develops further and they get together officially. I really hate love triangles especially those that consist of 1 new girl and 2 brothers falling for her and she chooses one over the other or neither of them for better, all the Jackie and Cole scenes were the best things about this average show but the way they looked at each other, their intense scenes, emotional fights, just everything was top notch. Luckily if you don't want to watch through all 10 episodes to see their story unfold just watch this fantastically edited just a little over 12 minute video because it's incredible but if you want more context for all the scenes just watch the show. They did the ending like that just in case it didn't get renewed for a 2nd season but if they do you know she'd go back and faced her problems head on no matter what the consequences will be.
I agree!! I loved Cole’s character growth. He went from a screw up who gave up on life to finally getting back up and making amends with everyone. Beef between him and Alex was more sibling jealousy & insecurity(Alex POV). Alex handled it with immaturity and so much bitterness while Cole was still decent. Initial bros fight over a girl (Alex ex) was a misunderstanding & mistake, which Cole didn’t know nor ever hookup with. But, Jackie was a different story. Even though, both boys were strongly drawn towards her from episode 1. It’s clear Cole was genuinely interested in her, Alex knew that and still pursued her, trying to outdo Cole and “win”Jackie to rub it in Cole’s face with all PDA😒. Cole went downward spiral after their hookup. He was upset but stayed away for Alex. I’m glad finally Jackie & Cole enacted on their suppressed feelings. Too bad it meant betraying Alex😢 I hate triangles between bros as it screws up their relationship which is never okay. I am counting on season 2 renewal asap & hoping season 2 isn’t hiding/ignoring their feelings but..facing the music of this last scene and moving forward 😎I can’t wait to see Cole with an official girlfriend and finally figuring out his new goal in life. Btw, I like Jackie uncle and guidance counselor pairing much better than sub teacher 😂

I ship Cole and Jackie from the very beginning. Initially, I wasn’t sure of Cole’s intentions towards being “nice” with Jackie. As story progresses, it’s quite obvious he’s genuinely falling for her. He’s so in love with her in the last episode. The comment he makes about “when you meet your person nothing else really matters” and looks at Jackie 🥹💕the chemistry between them was so strong 🔥. I feel bad for Alex, as he was so good to Jackie too. She genuinely gave him a chance, but she was never in love with him. It’s exactly what Cole said, Jackie chose Alex as he was the safe choice not what her heart desires. I am genuinely hoping for a Season 2 asap!! I LOVED this show, it’s so good, all of cast and story-such a great script, enacting and direction. 👏🏻👏🏻

He's genuinely falling for her but he is an ass, sorry. He is terrible to everyone, Jackie included. And even those moments when he is nice to her do not feel enough, when he treats other people like crap. But... I learned it's an adaptation of a story written by (then) a 15 year old girl, so many things make sense - some parts of the story felt quite forced to me or like just for the sake of the story (had no deeper meaning). It's just to me, this bad-guy-turned-good-because-he-falls-in-love trope is kinda overused lately or perhaps it's the fact i don't like types like Cole irl at all. I was really disappointed when she kissed him. But I enjoyed the series anyway. :)

@@michaja2 I’m glad you enjoyed the series. It was definitely a “feel good” show. Yes, I agree this “bad boy turned good due love” has been around for decades. I had a love/hate relationship with Cole. There were so many times I wanted to smack him🤦🏻♀️In the end, he was just lonely and miserable as all his hopes/dreams were crushed due to the injury. I’m glad he decided to turn things around in the end. IRL, I would never root for such a guy until he got his sh!t together. But on screen, i love redemption arcs and character growth☺️
I loved how he fixed her sisters teapot for her. And also drove in the rain at night to find her when she got lost. Those were two instances where I realized how much he loves her

Jackie was attracted to the bad boy cole but the idea of being with him wasn't like her so she went for Alex. And Cole has been a problem person for the better part of the series but he was battling his own demons. The award function was an eye opener and he chose to be responsible from then on. He even made peace with the fact that jackie chose Alex over him, but accidentally tells he can't not want her and repeatedly denies it later. After cole turns around, she feels that attraction now more than ever.
When Alex told her he loved her, she realized the whole Alex thing was in a way her response to running away from the bad boy Cole.The moment she saw the repaired kettle, she knew he loved her and she did too. Their chemistry is 🔥
But she should've told Alex straight to his face, that she didn't love him.
The only bad thing is two brothers fighting. I feel blood runs thicker than anything. One can never have peace without being at peace with siblings. She like ignited the war all over again.
Cole fixing Jackie’s sisters teapot was my favorite part. Shows how much he cares about her keeping her family memory alive. It was 100% obvious that she’s meant to be with Cole

i love Cole and Jackie from the minute i layed eyes on them off the bat he flirted with her the sparks were undeniable but he keeps being painted as a bad guy. from what i notice is he is a harder worker and when it came down to his grades, he made good grades before his injury He apologized to the girl at the end for how he treated her.... forgot her name, he helped, he used his popularity to help out jackie at the auction table. He didn't accept the money for that stupid bet that when out of hand. he opened up to her by the second episode you can see she is flirting right back. by the end of the series you can see that the minute they reached for the same flowers she was literally shaking she was in love with him. Same time I alex is a good guy but i don't think he was right for Jackie they didn't have that same spark. I think in some ways he wasnt ready for a relationship think he still had feelings for Paige cuz he wouldnt let go of the past to make time for a future with someone new. He didn't call her when Nathan was in the hospital. he was with jackie and drank himself i think to drown out his sorrows he wasn't with paige. i like both alex and cole but when i think about who she should be with its cole. Cole got issues but if you keep up the series you can see he is a character that has grown throughout the show. i do feel bad for how it happened to alex but at the same time I am happy that Jackie and Cole opened up their hearts to each other because i think throughout the show cole never made a move out of respect for her despite his reputation he respected her and I think thats what I see in cole. love the ending the kiss set the world on fire i put it on rewind over and over again felt silly for doing it but I just had to keep coming back to that kiss.

Alex is like a middle school relationship and tbh I think Alex is too immature for jackie and it’s not the kinda of relationship she craves…. Jackie and Cole are just so in love and it’s so obvious. The way they open up to each other, the old married couple fights, the extreme sexual tension just from the way they look at each other and those moments they spent together, the way Jackie made Cole into a better person and cole made Jackie loosen up a bit and have a bit more fun. They make each other better. The way Jackie didn’t realise the whole time she loved Cole and Cole loved her all along- I just can’t. And the way he looks at her!! Cole and Jackie have an undeniable attraction and chemistry. Alex was just the realistic and safe place but not a deep love. Cole changed for Jackie though brothers shouldn’t go after the same girl and Cole and Alex have a bad history of that which needs to be dealt with before Cole and Jackie can have a healthy relationship because obviously she doesn’t feel as deeply for Alex as she does Cole. Everyone can see Cole and Jackie’s chemistry

I knew this would happen , that’s why i wasn’t happy about Alex and jackie i knew he would be heart broken, it was obvious since from beginning she had fellings from cole. But i do understand why she didn’t choose him from the star, because que he wasn’t a safe choice , not the type of guy that if you could choose to have feelings for you would . And Alex he is wonderfull, kind, pacient, respectufull and has tha nerdy sharming i could easy fall in love too 😂. And finally i feel bad for kylie she cleary likes Alex more that he can imagine, she knows him since forever and she had to Watch him with paige and now with jackie, she must feel so heart broken, and it’s really impressive the way she act and that situation, if was me i would probably ask him for same space to erase my feelings. I hope if we had a season 2 things could be resolve in non-problematic way, i hate love triangle. 😭😭😭

I think it’s sad how Cole tells Jackie he doesn’t want to break his brothers heart again, especially since he kisses her. Obviously there’s two people involved and I think Jackie should’ve told ended the relationship with Alex before cheating on him. If she did Alex wouldn’t have told her he loves her and she would never have had to leave Colorado! I’m so excited for season two and I hope Alex will end up with a better girl than Jackie. I can’t stop playing Kylie’s face when he says she’s like a guy. She loves Alex and you can see she wants the best for him. Maybe she’s the one he needs to be happy. Also I want to tell the actors that I’m SO impressed. They did an amazing show and this is one of my favorites of all time! ❤

Lots of folks have been comparing the love triangle in this show as being eerily similar to Damon, Elena, and Stefan in TVD. Makes sense though because the author of the book the show is based on confirmed she was inspired by those characters when developing Cole, Alex, and Jackie. The book was released in 2015.
Cole and jackie are meant for each other, hope alex gets with his best friend,, and Danny is gets with Erin. And we see all the wallter brother's grow.
