- Alright if you don't like Marky join the party. This is the really weird short run that Bobby Lashley had in TNA in 2009. After he left WWE. It was a pretty short run but much of it involved Scott Steiner which of course makes it really interesting. So here it is Season 3 Ring Of The Hawk.

Steiner is the man. I met him at a TNA meet and greet at a house show in 2006, and he was talking to the promoter so I just kinda stood back, and he stops talkin to him, looks me dead in the eyes and goes "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING?!" and I was like oh I was just waiting for you to finish the conversation. And he goes "THIS MARK ALREADY PAID ME, GET OVER HERE!" Still got a signed TNA Steiner figure too!

I mean as much as it's easy to make fun of Steiner for his look or promos he was always a hell of a worker and really athletic even into his late years in the business.
I don't think many appreciated how great Steiner was back in the TNA days

Scott Steiner made himself the GOAT with TNA.
Lashley is one of my favorites from watching his highlights when I was younger; the Dominator looked badass, that dive where he broke the cage on Umaga and him breaking the Master Lock were crazy as hell. I also remember him “debuting” at the end of an Impact and then not showing up again for the next couple weeks lol. This run wasn’t the best though, I’m glad he’s improved and is a titleholder now.

Lashley has definitely done quite well for himself. Even during his first WWE run I wanted to see him get over and was disappointed when he left in 2008, but it's really something that he's now back and arguably better than ever.
It seems getting a bit more experience in the ring, and with creative in WWE doing better things with him has gotten him to be entertaining, and one of the better guys on the roster.
It does suck the Hurt Business is done, since it felt like a legit top tier stable.
@@coryshannon3815 He certainly has gotten better. I don't really understand why they ended the hurt Business. Seems it ended too soon and went nowhere and now what are Shelton and Cedric up to now? It looked like they could have done something with Cedric with having him involved during the Omos feud, but even that ended up going nowhere.
If Scott Steiner could’ve fused the in-ring talent he had as a tag team wrestler with the charisma and personality of Big Poppa Pump he would be the perfect pro wrestler
He was an amazing singles wrestler but got way to big which limited his wrestling, but he could of been the top guy if it wasn't for his outspoken ways

Man. I love suplexes. Every time I see a wrestler do a suplex (like tbone.michinoku driver. northern light. Tazplex etc.) Reminds me mean I was younger playing wrestling games (like smackdown 1 or 2. Raw 2 or any wrestling game you could set up your moveset) my CAS grapples were all the different suplexes. I just enjoy seeing a professional do a beautiful suplex. (Just not Germans or jackhammers. They are super boring lol. But a brain buster. Dam. I think it was Eddie who had an amazing brain buster. Maybe it was someone else. My memory is shit

My first memory of Scott Steiner was him rushing out to add The Main Event Mafia in 08. Returning from injury. Have been a mega fan since From Looking like a badass,to his promos and crazy ass character in general. Love Scott

Bobby Lashley's run has been a major success story. Amazing physisque for his age. Great matches. Getting over with the fans. His program with Sami could have derailed his push but he made it through. Seems more comfortable and has developed with his promos. Total package. Truly almighty.

Lashley really put more into his stock in the wrestling world when he came back in TNA the second time like he really improved, and it paved the way for him to come back to WWE and honestly, he has done so well for himself even if i do think the US Title is a little beneath him atm. Hes also got a good MMA record 15-2 which isnt too bad
He has always been a good professional wrestler, but he wasn't going to get the push over guys like Cena, Edge, HHH, Batista, etc who basically passed the title between each other for a really long time. He was one of the odd men out. 15-2 as an mma heavyweight is very impressive because he was fighting professionals. A lot of wrestling fans watch matches and think professional wrestlers can actually fight and that's often not the case when it comes to fighting against trained professionals. It was a different story back in the day when guys were taught how to defend themselves in case something crazy happened in the ring or if their opponent was intentionally trying to hurt them.
15-2 is an absolutely fantastic heavyweight record, although be didn't fight too many high-end opponents. Still very impressive for a combat sport.

During his early days with WWE while he was a bit green and bad on the mic with a voice that doesn't match his physique he really should've been given a Goldberg gimmick. Someone that's absurdly powerful but does very limited promos focusing on pure power. Lashley's greatly improved though since then and good for him
Yeah man this first post-WWE run over at TNA was honestly bad that even I wasn't a fan. And true, his second coming in TNA (and hanging more with MVP among other things) led to the kind of wrestler that he is now.
Also yeah, Steiner in TNA remains to be a damn MVP.
