    i took a wheel throwing class back in university years part of my arts studies.
    it is the most therapeutic act one can do in life.
    eventually i went to the route of digital mold making and slip casting but wheel throwing will always remain in my heart as the thing that got me interested in ceramics.

    Fantastic control. Can I ask how much clay. Looks like more than 3kg

      Thank you! I don't always weigh it out, but would estimate this was about 4.5kg :)

    I don’t get why you throw your pottery. Doesn’t it break?

    Matt, have you decided to stop making videos. I miss them. Would like to know how you move so much clay up from bottom of piece.

    • @Matthornepottery
      @Matthornepottery  Před 3 lety

      I haven't had as much time to make new videos recently but I uploaded a new one yesterday and hopefully some more in the next couple of months. With the clay, it's all in the pulling, keep practising pulling up when throwing :)
