I often get asked what is my favorite thrift store to find vintage and antique items. This place is my all time favorite in town, for a variety of reasons. Follow along to see some of the awesome pieces I found!

I guess I will binge watch your channel today . I’m up or over (???) in CENTRAL New York…I add the “Central” because I am no where near the City thankfully and when you say from New York…people only think City ! Born and raised in a small town 65 years ago !

It's so nice to meet you, Jayne! Yes, I agree about Sarah. She is such a gem! Thank you for coming over to my channel. I hope you enjoy my content. I'm pretty outward about my faith. Our world feels so unsure these days, but the love of Jesus is one thing I have always been able to rely on.

I recently subscribed to your tube and have been watching old ones to get to know you. I too watch Sarah and just love her sweet spirit and her style. I'm so glad Sarah recommended you. I love your enthusiasm for the Lord and your testimony that you are good at giving, as well as your husband. I also love your enthusiasm for thrifting. I have sworn off Goodwill, they have raised their prices again and it is beyond rediculous. I won't donate to them either. It's a shame because I used to like going there.
Thankfully, there are so many great charity shops out there to donate to!

Thank you so much! I don't know if you saw, but my oldest's name is Rose. It's my favorite name! We are so honored to have the opportunity for me to stay home with my children. We live on a very limited income, but that's where the fun of thrifting comes in! God has truly blessed us. Rosie and I were having coffee on the back deck this morning and we watched the sun rise together as she snuggled on my lap. I told her that we are the richest family in the world!

Love the cutting board, those are expensive brand new. Also like the container that you placed the fern in. It cleaned up nicely! I have lived in both Council Bluffs and Omaha, was so glad to find your channel. Look forward to more videos. 😊

I enjoyed this video so much!!!! I'm so happy and proud of you for sharing a few words around your faith! Now you are my "friend" and "sister"! That thrift store and owner sound delightful. I have wanted to read that book also. My husband has recommended it to me several times, I just need to make it happen. I will check out Sarah's page soon! (Still can't get notifications on you, but hunted this video down because I thought you might have a new one out!) Oh and that cutting board.......jaw drop.
Okay, I did a little more research on this. I think that it says that you should be able to be notified after I reach 1K subscribers, but it can take up to 48 hours for it to register with CZcams. I just hit 1K overnight!!! Let's hope that fixes it. Otherwise, I am totally lost!
Okay, I cannot recommend this book enough! It was both challenging and life-giving. I want my husband to read it as well!
I just came over from Sarah's channel and I just love that thrift store ❤ at 4:16 when you were looking at the copper piece and on the left was a vintage short clear pitcher that I use for orange juice and I would have had to get that one as well. It is so handy. You got some great treasures and I love them all! I enjoy watching more of your videos. Tfs!

This was a great haul!
The salt box with your fern looks great. We live about 2 1/2 hours from Omaha so if we ever get down that way, I will need to check out this thrift store. I especially like to support Christian who have their own business.

Amazing haul as always!! That book sounds great! And from what I understand (which isn't much!!) about the Sabbath for believers is that we are not under the Law, so buying is fine...you are not working, you are out doing something you LOVE and it probably refreshes you and brings you joy! But, of course it is between you and Jesus!💛💛💛
This is how I've always viewed it! My thoughts were challenged in this book, though, by thinking of the Sabbath as a day to be thankful for and enjoy the things we already have been given without focusing on accumulating more. We are also trying to spend our Sabbath together as a complete family, rather than running off and doing our own things that we enjoy. Josh has agreed to give me another day as an "off day" during the week to go do some self-care stuff like running errands by myself and thrifting.

Wow you came across so many lovely pieces- I’m amazed at the prices for the pottery haha. I’m having a harder time finding pottery under $6 🤦♀️

Don't you just love how beautifully you can dress by thrifting? I have more clothes then I've ever had in my life. I don't like shopping in regular stores.
Me neither! It gives me anxiety to shop in normal stores now! I feel stressed about spending unnecessary amounts, and contributing to ruining the environment.
