Another Epilogue video. Comparing 3DFX Voodoo 3 vs NVIDIA TNT2 vs S3 Savage4 side by side.
This time I decided to use Savage4 instead of Intel i740 since Intel card is an absolute abomination. I also recorded 4th footage with Radeon 7000 but it wasn't very interesting enough to add into the comparison.

Very interesting comparison. The Savage4 does not display fog I guess and the Voodoo 3 has lower quality textures (256x256) compared to the other 2 cards which support 512x512 ones. Unfortunately it’s not possible to see the FPS in Glide with the Voodoo to compare the frame rate.

Yeah I was surprised to see Savage4 not displaying the fog, I only noticed it after I watched the video back. For the frame rate, I think Voodoo3 and TNT2 was very similar in performance but Savage4 was slightly slower. I think S4 colours are much better, other 2 seems a bit washed out but that's probably because there's no fog haha

24 years later it is still a fun game to play! It feels more peaceful compared to other racer games hectic atmosphere.
