Greetings from Scotland! An interesting shaped load like that gives you a little practise taking the trailer apart for loading doesn't it! Not a lot to the upper structure when you see it stripped back for a load such as that is there! Quite ingenious mechanisms well planned out though aren't they! I never worked on such a trailer, most were solid sides/roof with rear doors or flatbed trailers that needed tarpaulin and ropes (before ratchet straps). Some tanker work (that was the easiest!) with fuel oils, but never a curtain truck with moveable roof etc. But then, I'm talking a long time ago when Dinosaurs still walked the Earth of course! My easiest work was driving tour coaches all over Europe, free food, great hotels in nice places and nice people who walked on and off all by themselves - the only loading required were their suitcases. 😂😂
As a mechanic in training, I was told that if one bulb needed changed, it was generally better to change them as a pair, but honestly, I found it made little, or no difference either way! Electrical components either fail in a short time or they work for ages! (I believe it was called "The bathtub curve"?) Whatever, I loved the official Volvo attitude "If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it!" 😂😂 Legyen szép heted, Tímea! 👋👋
Hello Peter!😊 I have just arrived home, and I wanted to answer you from a personal computer because it is easier. Yeah, this kind of mechanisms is very well-designed, well-thought. I often transport this type of cargo, so I have plenty of time to practice taking the trailer apart! 😁 I was told at the beginning that I should rather work with a frigorific trailer/tanker because it is easier. Maybe I will try it sometime, but working with this type of curtain trailer never becomes boring! Which type of trailer did you love most? Eh, I bet it wasn't that long ago! 😊 I think I wouldn't prefer to drive a bus because if something happens, "the cargo" - I mean the precious human lives - would be on the line, and not, for example, timber or rock. I bet it is beautiful. You don't see Europe from the highways but from the most visited places. Which part of Europe was your favorite when driving a bus? I am sure you had to stop a thousand times for everybody to pee! 😁

@@blondietruckingadventures Hi Timea! Welcome home! 😊 Were you away for a long haul this time? Anywhere interesting/exotic? 😊 O.K. My favourite country was 100% Switzerland! Northern Italy was a close 2nd place! I love the beauty of the alps and the mountains are so breath taking, winter or summer! Some of the roads were extreme and took a strong nerve when a tight corner meant reversing the coach right to the edge to take a few shunts! Italian lakes in the North are also beautiful and the Dolomite mountains too - spectacular! Favourite town is still Chamonix in the French alps, love that town! My very first time in continental Europe happened at 21yo when my boss asked me on a Tuesday if I had ever heard of St Tropez. Then on Thursday I was heading across the English Channel in a coach with 55 passengers! I even had to collect a passport from Glasgow on my way! 😲 Favourite type of trailer is the fridge type with solid folding side doors and rear doors. Fixed roof. I mostly drove flat bed trailers and fuel tankers though. I know almost every type of rope knot that exists! 😂 Sorry for the long reply - I talk way too much! Oh, and it WAS a long time ago because I had a heart attack at 32yo and lost both the HGV and PSV licences. I am 69 now, so last drive of a large vehicle was 1986!!! I still drive as much as possible but with light vehicles. I also love to wander around Europe in my car now I am retired, often 4 or 5 thousand miles each time. (8,000 Km). I love the open road! 1, Mikor a spanifert nagyon feszesre kell húznod mind pl. ebbe a videoba, ajánlom hogy fogd fordìtva a racsnit.
Vagyis, a karod a racsni folytatàsa. De ha az "1félköt" formál (ahogy látom szoktad csinálni) akkor ellopja az erödet.
Viszont ha ezt a vonalat megtöröd és fordítva fognád, akkor megnö az erö akár a "hullámlemeznél". + kevesebb izomcsoportot használnál és koncentrálodna az energiád. Persze amig megszokja az izomzatod érezhetsz fájdalmat, itt-ott (akár az ujpercek közt is) mert orjásit fogsz húzni...
2, A Krona, kimondottan hangsújozza hogy a tetöt nem az acélsodronytól húzni.
Persze tudom, a tied nem Krona, és meg is javítod ha kell, csak na, én már mentem ugy el hogy valaki elszakította és én nem láttam csak mikor helyszinen nyitni kellett.
Tudod, ott áltak az összes szentek és 1ütt nyitottuk ki 😉😂
3, Ez a video, a short-nak a teljes formája.
Na most, ahogy látom, vasárnap délbe-kora délután szoktál feltölteni (ami nagyon jó).
De 1hét manapság elég sok.
Azt akartam ajánlani, hogy ha hétközbe tolnál 1 shortot (ízelítöt arról ami következik) nem túl sok idöt és energiát beletéve, szerintem nagyon szeretnék a követöid.
4, (na ez az utolsó, nem akarlak untatni)
Mi lenne ha szerkesztenél 1 bevezetöt (sablont)és késöbb majd 1 befejezö videót is, de most kezdetnek 1 bevezetöt.
Az még 30-40 másodperc pluszba minden videodba... stb. késöbb egyéb haszna is lessz... 😉

1. Most jobban belegondolva, lehet, hogy igazad van. Az a baj, hogy ejsze így jobban kezem ügye, de mindeképp megprobálom a te módszeredet.😁
2. Apu is ezt mondta, amikor először látta a videót, hogy nem az acélsodronytól kell húzni, de a végére már annyira kínlódtam, hogy így sikerült. Nem szeretném elszakítani, mert tudod akkor ide körém is minden szent ide gyűl majd.🤣🤣
3. Nagyon örvendek a kommentjeidnek, annyit lehet belőlük mindig tanulni! Azon dolgozom, hogy a videók dinamikusabb, érdekesebbek legyenek. A shortokkal az utóbbi időben felhagytam, de most hogy adtad ezt az ötletet, nem is olyan rossz. Lehet úgy fogom csinálni, hogy egy kis ízelítő lesz a hétközepén a hétvégi videóból.
4. Egyáltalán nem untatsz, direkt azért vártam, hogy a számítógépről tudjak válaszolni, hogy tudjam rendesen elolvasni és rendesen válaszolni is rá. Azon gondolkodtam, hogy azok akik folyamatosan nézik a videókat, vajon nem unnák meg?

Romania is a wild country, machines are fastened with chains, not belts, which are also twisted, Go to Germany, if BAG checks you, you will pay several hundred euros or several thousand euros + a set for parking until the goods are chained + tacho control and technical condition of the truck. Such cars should not enter the EU/Shengen. The Polish Road Transport Inspection and the German BAG carry out the most rigorous inspections in order to eliminate such transport.
Hello! The agricultural machine had 3500 kg, so the chains weren't needed. You are right, the ratchet strap was twisted, I didn't notice then. Not too long ago I had tachograph/ technical control in Austria and everything was in it's place, okay. I know that Romania is not perfect from a lot of point of view, but it is not a condition to wait 5-10 hours or even more to cross the border. There are trucks that do not meet the requirements for safe transportation, but you would be surprised that the trucks which mostly transport in Europe comply with the requirements for safe transportation.
Man, I wish I had such nice side beams like yours. Mine are old and short, and they fall off all the time. One of them fell just when I loosend up the tarp, hit me in the leg. Yeah, pretty crappy equipement here in Greece, but oh well, you work with what you have I guess.
One other lesson learned when securing equipement like that: wear a helmet. Anything can hit you in the truck, when you least expect it 😂😂😂😂😂

Well, here in Romania are crappy equipments too, but if you are transporting to the west, it has to be good. Well, imagine first time when I got this trailer, I almost broke my nose! 👃 😂😂 I opened the trailer, and the column has an opener, I didn't know if I eliberate it then it will fall!😂 You can imagine how big my nose became! Just for you to know, it's not a bad idea to wear a helmet all the time! Because you never know!😂 A full body security equipment we need!!😂😂 Take care!🙌🌞
