    Ty for saying this roster is not as good as people make out. It was star top heavy and those guys have never got through a season together once.

      well, I mean even Staley got them 10 wins in 2022 with a lot of injuries, and Jim Harbaugh turned the 49ers from a 6-win team to a 12-win team when he became the coach. If the chargers can hit on some picks in the draft, I think they have some serious potential. honestly, I want them to get Marvin Harrison Jr or malik Nabers but if they can trade down and hit on a lineman and a defensive player and get a receiver like McConkey in the 2nd round that that would be excellent as well. I'm assuming he's going to bring a bunch of players of Michigan and their transition to the NFL should be smooth because of the scheme fit.

      @@jonathanmarinello2534 I don't think he will tap into Michigan players, he didn't when at 49ers with Stanford and neither did Carroll at USC. I just think the roster hasn't got any depth, one thing I always loved about the Patriots they had heaps of just decent players not superstars just fundamentally good players, someone goes down the next guy just steps in, Chargers are top heavy imo and always have been. But yea if he hits on some players they should be able to win 10 thats almost a wildcard spot.🤞

    Get that stud wideout on the cheap for 5 years! The rest will take care of itself with good coaching.

    honestly the chargers would be better to take a top tackle or trade back and get best defender. this WR class is loaded and most years you can find great receivers in day 2 and 3.

      No, you cant and we need a WR1, not some random flier in the 4th round and hope he works out. Our offense is pathetic, arguably worst in the NFL. You are going to be lucky to win 4 games going into a loaded AFC with trash like Quentin Johnston and some 4th round WR lol

    If he genuinely think JJ is the guy and they aren’t going to throw it, trade your QB 1 for all the picks you need for full rebuild.

      Herbert has a no trade clause and even if you got him to agree to a trade, he's a $120 million cap hit. Hes not going anywhere. Stop being a casual.

      @@ronsmith6110trading Herbert in total has 129m in total dead cap over his contract. Herbert has a no trade clause, Jim Harbaugh literally went to the chargers because he wanted to unite with Herbert. You are a causal if you think there’s any chance the chargers trade a Franchise top 5 QB entering his prime

    • @ronsmith6110
      @ronsmith6110 Před měsícem

      @@shooksrule you must have had the same bap-tism from a lead pipe as the other guy. A no trade clause means the player needs to give consent. If your team wants you out and a good franchise wants you it’s not an issue. Loads of teams would put proposals in for him if he’s available. As far as cap hit, listed as 28m this year and 28m next year. Which if you are trying to win, is something to consider if you end up with a load of picks on long contracts beyond that dead cap period. As far as uniting with Herbert. You realise that Jim’s offence at Michigan threw the ball deep so little that JJ McCarthy can’t even be graded properly by scouts as he has so little film throwing the ball. Jim said he wants to work with Herbert. He says that JJ is the best QB in the draft. If he’s right about JJ, presumably the guy can spin the ball and Michigan play book just didn’t have any throws. So what’s the point of keeping Herbert to hand the ball off? I appreciate your raw-tismal reaction, but play nice brother.

    What is the point of getting rid of all your star wide receivers and having a good run game with no passing game or going wide receiver guys
