I used to ask my parents everyday and cry , they never bought me one though, every now and then, even after 8 years I still look at photos/videos related to PSPs...... How sad can ones life get?

I just pulled mine out of retirement or more like cryosleep. I bought it back in 2007 I think. The battery, which I luckily stored separately, sort of expanded so I had to get a new one. Besides that works like a charm.

I still have one but I don't have memory card I searched for memory card in our local stores but they were out of stock I'm going to buy it online after this Corona virus 😉
