Love the video and I think I could actually do this EXCEPT my problem is in a 2016 Cherokee Latitude and I can't seem to find a video for that one. Surely, I am not the only one having this problem with the visor. I have been driving over 60 years and NEVER had a visor come off in my hand. Very annoying.

Thank you. My unlimited sport JL doesn't have the electrical wire in the visor. I need one for the passenger side which came loose and put one on the drivers which is still okay so far
This is great! I have the same problem w/ a JL 2020 Rubicon and plan to have the dealer fix it, but would like to prevent it from happening again on my 2020 and my 2019 Rubicons. Do these work on the 2019-20 Rubicons and do the wood screws in the package match the threads of the T20 that's removed so it doesn't mess up the factory threads? I'm wondering if you can just get a longer T20 screw instead of not using a wood screw since it seems a little more professionally done =) Thanks.
Yes these will fit on your JL fine. Sorry but we only have the screws you saw in the video. They work and look perfectly fine. If you want to replace the screws we provide you with. You can probably find a pair at your local hardware store.

Thank you! I have a 2020 Wrangler JL and t was my passenger visor that broke, funny since I'm single and rarely does anyone sit on that side. I only use it when I put the sun shade in. My jeep dealership said I could buy a service contract for $100 to have the $300 visor replaced. Five months out of warranty, of course! I said no thank you, what would be the point anyway, it'd just break again since they haven't bothered to solve the problem.

Had my gladiator an hour went to use my visor to turn side and popped out things like this give Jeep a bad name (WHY)
They should do a recall on this issue it is a safety hazard as well .Just plain stupid And they’re still pumping them out without a fix amazes me.
I just found back glass is leaking along top bad. Luckily Covered by 3 yr 30k Warranty.I do really like my 2020 Gladiator over my Tacoma Sport trade in even though Never one issue with the Tacoma 35,000
You do not need any kit to fix this. Take it apart, take both T 20 out and put a washer right where it is broken and a screw right through the middle of steel stem. Reinstall it I will never come out again

Many other options besides Taccom, their heavy duty version requires modification or it will most likely damage your visor. Don't waste your money with them, buy one of the many options that don't require modification.

2020 ram 1500 with the same exact issue. Bolt holes are in a different spot though so i don't think that kit will work. The issues is the metal tube inside that plastic piece doesn't go all the way to the top.

@@NoSpillsChills Yes, I bought a new visor from MOPAR. It was around $80 and fixed the issue. I don't know how long it will last again.

@@brpauto7313 tengo un wrangler soy de PUERTORICO y tengo el mismo problema yo hace 1 año aproximadamente que no lo llevo porque la experiencia con ellos a sido malísima de hecho deje mi carro 3 dias por un ruido que tiene desde que lo compre y cuando fui ni lo habían chequiado y me lo lleve aún tengo garantia pero mi molestia es que nisiquiera nadie se monto conmigo a verificar lo de el ruido y de verdad yo trabajo y el tiempo es difícil y ellos como que no se esmeran o no les importa que el cliente salga satisfecho y por lo menos yo no los recomiendo

Unfortunately this didn't work for me. As soon as I move the visor over to the side window, it works its way out of the part. I think a similar part that utilized both screws on the visor would be a better option.

i did the dumbest thing i pulled the wire out and put the viser in my seat. what do i do?
You can solder the wires back together. If you don't know how to solder them. You can use butt connectors.
Why is this even an issue in the first place? I hate that I have to order this to resolve the issue.
Cause Jeep refuses to make them with good quality materials.
Solutions like this don't work (with my RAM 1500) here in Arizona where the sun will soften the material thus letting the visor fall. I wish the brackets was made from aluminum.
We live in Mesa and we've had these on for over 2 years and haven't had any issues. FYI. We also make them for the RAM.
@@brpauto7313 Yup I live in Mesa too (off Guadalupe/Power) but mine bend from heat being parked in the driveway. Ill do a bit more research on your offering.
