Also, I think the benchmark displayed by Vivobook s15 of Cinebench 2024 is from when it was plugged in and also It was in full-speed mode, which keeps the fans running constantly at maximum power.
he didn't include the benchmark results when unplugged.
Edit:- The benchmark for the Vivobook S15 while it is running on battery power is 765 (Source: Max Tech). Similarly, the benchmark for the MacBook does not see any performance degradation when running on battery power. Also, He didn't compare the battery and much more.

X86 cpu architecture is a 32bit only architecture and we have passed many years where x64, x86's 64bit counterpart, is being widely used, today most laptops are x64, not x86, x86 consumer laptop simply does not exist nowadays( might be a bit of over exaggeration but normal consumer laptops are made x64)

As someone who was a windows kid for years and has been using a macbook for the time being. This is not a valid comparison. Emulated apps will need time, not everyone has the luxury to "test" a laptop. Kudos to the battery life but you won't get the same efficiency as it running of the battery. There wasn't even a proper comparison. The techwiser we used to know is gone. Also can't blame him - one has to adapt, in order to grow.
The process is arm based but it is not the highest because it is lowest performance chip in x elite series
Side-by-side comparison, including browsing, media consumption, and gaming if possible. Video rendering, comparing battery life, and the performance difference with and without a charger. Also, how smooth or laggy the experience is. Also, please include one with Intel Core processors. When it comes to laptops, our tech CZcamsrs really don't live up to expectations.
Hope the budget windows arm laptops will be available on market soon for most of us non-hi-end common/ordinary/general users

Apple with their M series of processors since day one performed at the same level when on power or on battery.
Snapdragon performs too. Watch Max Tech videos where they compared Surface Pro with MacBooks. But Surface is still not availalbe in India so you can't buy
Increasing the single-core performance takes the most R&D and Apple is miles ahead in that, especially with the M4. Apple achieved this despite the clock speed remaining the same, by changing the architecture of the CPU.
This is something that Android and Windows-side chipmakers, who are often perceived as subpar, would never do because they don't tend to make any architectural changes at all, especially Intel.
These manufacturers only know how to add more cores and increase clock speed.
Summary:
X elite is at par with M3 in terms of performance. M3 wins in single core, X elite wins in multicore.
Graphics are similar too.
Windows wins in battery life for the first time.
Problems- Not all apps are available/ run smoothly in X elite. Developers are still working on apps compatible with it.
Verdict: Windows is at par with Mac in terms of performance and battery, sometimes wins over Mac.
Wait a few months for all apps to be properly available. Casual daily user can go for it now, since all daily use apps run smoothly either natively/simulated mode.
Pro users can wait a while for availability of apps that run natively and the reduction of prices.
Real answer- It Does Not as there is no-one else in the Market who makes and modifies both hardware and software together that works like a symphony except Apple
less of a symphony more a dictatorship whatever app you are using is custom tuned for the cpu that apple made basically making it made for apple meanwhile the apps that run on these windows or snapdragon laptop are made for all windows devices so their core optimisations are based on a wide array of devices. its like comparing apples to oranges. we pc users can also say that macs cant run a single game on mac but applefandom will lose a nut and start crying about how its not what mac is made for lol.
Also a point to mention is Asus is using the slowest version of Elite plus i.e. 78. When others come with higher varient it will have dual core boost and higher clock speeds so some improvement to performance is expected.
So we should never ever buy anything now as well 🙄 😐

IntelCoreUltra series 1 is running games very well at 35 watt.
Lunar Lake in September 2024 will run those games better at 17 watt.
Why this ARM can't game and why ARM is so much slow in video editing?
That is because they are meant and built for the x86 Architecture, and most of the games here on ARM is running on emulation layer, hence performance hit is expected. It will take little time for developers to catch up and build native ARM Apps and Games, and then it will fly smoothly :)
I see no point in comparing windows laptops with macbooks (Air or Pro).
A normal user use any laptop for atleast 3-4 years but even if you'll compare same laptops after 1-2 years, windows will become slow and laggy while macbooks will run like new.
Even in battery backup you'll see a significant drop in windows which is not the case with macbooks.
If someone just want to focus on productivity in their work without having any hassle then go for a macbook.
the older s8 phone had oled. the screen burnt in after 1 month.I got another as a replacement. That screen lasted 5 months. My samsung s8 ultra oled 0 burnin after 2 years of use

You forgot to change the power mode from balanced/battery saver to performance. That's why you're getting lower scores on battery compared to when plugged in

There are many ISA's which are currently in use today some of them are X86, ARM, RISC-V, MIPS, Open-Sparc and many others which used to exist previously don't exist anymore. the problem with these laptops are if you want great performance, then the battery life will be very similar to an x86 PC with the fans spinning. the M1 chip was able to performance great, while sustaining battery life
I own asus vivobook 15 oled laptop (ryzen 5) and the display is really good and really better than my friends laptops and it supports hdr and their laptops don't. It is bang for buck IMO same peroformance as other laptops in this range (50k) but really a very better display you.
this is their first cpu and performs this great , in the future their CPU will be great , just a GPU is not that great hope they will fix this or introduce best integrated GPU to compete with apple
but for now in terms of GPU apple is great and in terms for CPU x elite is just a step back

I'll only buy Apple laptop if they increase base model specs from 256 GB to 512 GB and stop charging 20K for each SSD and RAM upgrade and also when they let users to upgrade RAM and SSD on their own. But given it's Apple that's never gonna happen so practicality dictates buy a Windows laptop. Waiting for ARM on Windows to get better and I'm now more hopeful

well these devices would be useless until most of the software start running on them natively and without emulation! and this can be done only when pc manufacturers ditch intel and amd like mac and completely shift to ARM based CPUs, because until then developers will continue to build their software for the hardware that is mostly used and popular and that will be of amd and intel.

Lol! Apple is miles ahead, brother! I know it is sad, but credit where it's due. My 4-year-old Macbook model runs 5 times faster and has 5 times more battery backup than the 2-year-old Windows laptop of my brother. Despite both laptops being in the same price range.
