One coworker of mine here in Norway was half Sami. Good looking people with a mix of Asiatic and Scandi features, striking eyes. I'm from South America, my father and my maternal great grandma had strong Indigenous ancestry, so in a way I feel kinda connectes to Sami people. I feel we descend from a same commong ancestor when it comes to our Asiatic ancestry. I guess some people of an Asian tribe went across the Behring Strait while others from that same tribe decided to go west.

      @@Miki-fl9ez Took from wikipedia
Since the term 'Ancient North Eurasian' refers to a genetic bridge of connected mating networks, scholars of comparative mythology have argued that they probably shared myths and beliefs that could be reconstructed via the comparison of stories attested within cultures that were not in contact for millennia and stretched from the Pontic-Caspian steppe to the American continent.[4]
For instance, the mytheme of the dog guarding the Otherworld possibly stems from an older Ancient North Eurasian belief, as suggested by similar motifs found in Indo-European, Native American and Siberian mythology. In Siouan, Algonquian, Iroquoian, and in Central and South American beliefs, a fierce guard dog was located in the Milky Way, perceived as the path of souls in the afterlife, and getting past it was a test. The Siberian Chukchi and Tungus believed in a guardian-of-the-afterlife dog and a spirit dog that would absorb the dead man's soul and act as a guide in the afterlife. In Indo-European myths, the figure of the dog is embodied by Cerberus, Sarvarā, and Garmr. In Zoroastrianism, two four-eyed dogs guard the bridge to the afterlife called Chinvat Bridge. Anthony and Brown note that it might be one of the oldest mythemes recoverable through comparative mythology.[4]

Nice results! Sàmi people and their culture & Mythology are so UNIQUE!!
-The Sàmi people are one of the oldest nations in Europe.
-Sàmis score the highest Scandinvian Hunter-Gatherer (SHG) ancestry out of all Scandinavians and it counts from 20%-25%.
-Sàmis score around 15%-25% East-Asian related ancestry which comes from the Uralic migrations from Siberia, their East-Asian ancestry is mostly from Amur River_HG related populations and a little bit from Yellow River Neolithic, that's why they're closely related to Russian Perms than other Finns and Karelians.

These dna tests do not work for sami and other small groups because the test company does not even know existence of sami so its not option. The point of these tests is to show modern location of your ancestry 500 years ago or so,, not ancient ancestral location. These tests are made for modern day americans mostly to show where they came from to usa, lets be honest. It says finnish chinese native american inuit to sami because the company has no option to sami as it should, so it shows other closely similar genetic groups instead. You are probably almost full mix of finnish and sami ancestry so in other words mostly north asian, paleo north european, indoeuro/iranic mix.
It says inuit, mesoamerican, andean, chinese, vietnamese because those people originate from asia or live there and half of original sami ancestry came from north asia from siberia over ural mountains 4000 years ago and the migration back leads to whats now amur siberia, mantsuria china area. Even finns are 4-15% asian, so you are probably between 20-35% as most modern day saami are, but the old time sami with no mix to finns, norwegians, russians etc were lot more than that i imagine. Just looking old photos from 1800s and early 1900s some sami look even full asian or native american. Im from sami ancestry northern Inari lake area

Women ? Whichever woman is caught is the one she will be :))
(Closed societies generally offered a wife to the traveler so that the clan would be stronger. Hehe)
And these Tests “you are 74 Finnish!” - it just shows who they fucked with. Naturally, people in the same area fuck each other. They travel to different villages and look for a bride. They didn’t come up with another way :))) (Sperm had not been sent by mail before)

Middle Easterners & India’s Indians have narrow noses - are they considered to be Caucasians or related to whites? Original inhabitants/“indigenous” people of Xinjiang, China are flame haired, white skinned Caucasians (c.f. Tarim Basin mummies) - this is complete with archaeological evidence. My mom and her side of the family are white but have dark to light brown hair and hazel to brown eyes eyes and most of them have a sort of olive complexion unlike me who tends to freckle. I guess I had a stereotypical view about people from the northern regions of Scandinavia. But as to what region they came from I have no idea. I just expected Finland?

Sami is not Asiatic, their DNA is Finnish, their language is Finno-Ugric, original unmixed Samis have dark skin, small eyes, button noses, high cheekbones but their eyes’ orbits are not as shallow as Asians. But for Samis to be so-called “related” to Asians is a complete myth with no archaeological evidence whatsoever
