Will Heavier Broadheads Reduce Bow Noise? We Tested It!

In this video we are testing the theory that adding FOC to your arrow setup, or just weight in general to your arrow in general, will quiet down the noise of your bow or crossbow. For this test we are using a crossbow.
We will be shooting a 100 grain, 125, 155, and 200 grain broadhead to see if the crossbow noise is reduced. Let us know in the comments section what you think is going to happen, and if this metric matters to you!

Well, that didn't turn out anything like I expected that it was going to. Though in fairness, it would've been nice to see how it did with a decibel meter. Someone else in the comment mentioned maybe placing the mic (db meter) somewhere other than right below the strings, which I think may have some merit.

You need to measure the sound at the deer's location, not right under the crossbow.

Guess that I'm of the opinion that heavier arrows HIT heavier......Within range reason. You're going to reach a range where the heavy hitting fades before accuracy. IMO
