12,000 square foot building, the other option is $18,000 in LP. Make it easy for me....

Yeah I’m just trying to do the math.
1 cord of wood costs about $200 dollars in my area and you u only have one firebox...I could burn one firebox for 12 months out of the year for $4,000.
Anyway maybe your wood is much more expensive.
      Good video. Thanks.

I'm in the beginning stages of building an out door boiler/ or maybe a lager indoor one than I have now. I'm wondering if circling copper coils around the outside of the firebox rather than a water jacket would work? Or is it a waste of time to even attempt that? My current boiler is an old 89,000 btu tasso, works great but I'm always cleaning creosote from the firebox, and the firebox is to small. 5hr max when its real cold out between refilling the firebox.

I came across your vids while researching any differences of kiln drying lumber vs kiln drying firewood. I spent a big chunk of the night watching several more. Very good. One question - are all outdoor wood fired units boilers? In other words, can you use wood in a forced air or “dry” type of heat system?
    Thanks
