Battery Backup for Pellet Stove, Pure Sine Wave Simply the Safest and Best option.
The Model 933 interfaces between a heating appliance (wood pellet or alternative fuel stove) and its AC wall outlet. When AC utility power is present, the Model 933 charges a battery and monitors the wall outlet to detect a power outage. At the moment utility power fails, the Model 933 draws energy from a battery and converts it to enable appliance operation. When utility power returns, the Model 933 automatically switches the appliance back to AC wall outlet power. At the same time, the Model 933 resumes charging the battery to return it to full capacity in preparation for the next power failure.

Why won't my sharkbite slide on as shown in video. It is the correct size

I didn’t ask but I bought the kit. Does everything have to be unwired for the A/C in the summer time?
Thanks, very good explanation!
Plate heat exchanger vs side arm heat exchanger water heater which is better to install on a domestic hot water heater with a wood boiler
Can the water in boiler heat coil really freeze if placed directly above an A-coil in an updraft furnace? I don’t think the air gets that cold.
Water is the best heat (cold) bank, better than stone. A small indoor salt pool will keep those living in cold climates warm, clean, and happy for many hours after the fire has gone out. In warm climates, a cool pool of water set in stone is delightful. I'm all for a big tank of water you can sit in.
How do you change out the laminated cellinoid and rubber flap. I purchased a home with a wood boiler, that has not been well maintained. What do I do and or who should trouble shoot the system?
Another question. Could this work for a tankless water heater? (I am guessing not)
My main question.. Is there a way to have this heat the water that is in the tank? Or is it purely to prevent having to heat COOOOOLD water from the main line? Which actually sounds like it would help alot, to subsidize the heat. just the water tank would still have to turn on eventually to heat up the water once ir cools down...
It needs a non-return valve on the cold feed pipe to maintain pressure inside the plate. I assume the cold feed pipe runs thru the inside of the cylinder to the bottom. The pressure build up in the plate pushes water down the cold feed pipe into the bottom of the cylinder? Are you just pre-heating the incoming cold water? I am confused at what you are doing.
So what happens to the hot water in the tank once it goes through the plate exchanger and sits in the tank for a couple hours when your not using the hot water, does it get cold and then your heating elements turn on anyways?
can i use this for radiant floor heating?
to start my outdoor boiler i have to push the button several times, do i need a new control panel ?
I have installed this as you said and tested it, It barely heats the tank if no one is using the hot water. Maybe I did something wrong my heat exchanger is a few feet away from the tank inlet.
I’m inquiring about the taco pump cartridge 009. I have to replace it way to often n now the cost has skyrocketed to get it. I’m thinking my actual problem is the water gets to hot because house need varies so much the water can get into the 200 degree range or even boil n then shortly afterwards the bearing poops out. Feedback is appreciated but actually looking for advice/ options. Sometimes it’ll go out for no reason. I don’t keep the temp high unless it’s below zero outside n actually stay 20 less allowing extra time for the temp increase. The whole unit works great except for the cartridge issue. Bronze used but now very spendy. Wish I would’ve bought a case of m before. Lol I guess.
Do you know the difference between series and parallel ? Series 12 volt to 12 volt makes 24 volt DC.
Using one for 11 years. Heat 2000 sq foot house 1000 sq foot trailer , 4000 sq ft shop. Abdolutely live it. North canada temps.
Why wouldn't you install a check valve and exp tank on the domestic inlet? Seems like that hot water will migrate quite a ways upstream on the cold side.
Fan on the door of woodmaster will run but is making a lot of clicking when it starts?
Thank you Jeff, This has been a great help
You basically described a vintage HEATMORE.
Looking to run DHW and floor heat off of an outdoor wood boiler. Possibly get one of your hydro kits in the future based on the output from the floor. But do you have any videos or recommendations on how to plumb the dhw and radiant floor system?
why are you calling it milled steel when it is mild steel. pronounced like wild.
I find burning homemade charcoal against a momotube boiler safe and easiest to build and maintain. I run both piston- steam and turbine-steam engines turning a whole house. Steam technology is a well proven.
I appreciate all the good information you are providing. Thank you very much.
Can these plate heat exchangers be used on a pressurised system like a combi boiler?
I have a question I use a taco 009 and I in floor radiant heat would a taco 007 be better?
Hi Jeff just wondering does the circulation pump on a 3000 heat master stay running 24/7, guess it has to keep water circulation through the system.
Very informative. Thank you!
Could this be used in greenhouse for longwr growing season?
I run my radiant floor off my wood boiler and I’m having problems with major heat loss when the floor calls for heat. Should I have a mixing valve anywhere on my system? My boiler is set at 185 deg running thru a plate HX. I have 140 deg water in and 80 going out on the manifold side.
😂😂 thos video is hilarious
I just bought a house with a 434 and my fan won’t turn on. I changed the aquastat and the solenoid on the door. Jumped the snap disk and still didn’t turn on any suggestions?
Hook to indoor furnace No that’s a boiler 😂
Have u heard of tanks that hold ur hot water so u don't have to keep it burning all day every day.
Thank you, I have been debating build or buy... for our new home. I think you helped me realize I can do this and have given me some important aspects of design, I will certainly be putting to use.
Hi Jeff, how did the Irish spring work out for you? I’ve used that in my sheds and crawlspace but have found bite marks in almost every bar. Even if I leave the bars in the box they bite the box and then the soap.
Are there any versions of this battery backup/inverter/charger that will work with the new Lithium Iron Phosphate marine-grade batteries? I think that main difference is the battery trickle charge needs to change from 13.2VDC (for led-acid/gel) to 14.4VDC (for LiFePo4).

Why so many commercials?
hello I have a heatmor 100cb and it's 2 years old last year worked great this year, no so much now I have water dripping out of ash tube and into ash box and no one can seem to tell me what's wrong, I repacked sand replaced seals and nothing I have to clean the blower flipper door ever day please help me
First thing contact Heatmor, for warranty. Sounds like you have a leak. Jeff
Great video. I took your advice on the correct pump type and size. However, I have an open no pressure system approx. 300 ft. total loop size with 1" feed and return lines. I replaced a taco 007 with the 2400-20. I have better circulation although my incoming temp will not go above 140 when my ODWB is at 200. What I am doing wrong. Should I add another circ. to the system on the return line? If so does it need to be the same taco 2400-20 or can it be just a taco 007?
Sounds like your underground insulation is compromised and your loosing heat in the ground. Pump won't fix that. Jeff
Thank you@@AltheatsupplyLLC
Awesome thank you!
You're welcome!
Would i have to change the dip switches on my Harman to use this model? Thanks
This is exactly what I was looking for but, $500 for the inverter then another $100 for a battery. At todays prices of gas (2023) Ill just hook up my gas generator and buy a thick coat and still save money. Can't even buy this thing anywhere anyways comments 3 yrs ago says you sold out. Ever think of making more?
Yes, you can do that, but you need to do that every time the power goes out. and then put everything away when power returns. This system does it automatically and then re-charges your battery. Remember the power goes out usually while you are sleeping... LOL Jeff
Which pump would you suggest for plain water in a boiler so it doesn't rust?
The J pumps with the bronze cartridge. Example Taco 0011 BF4-J
I was think about taking 2 275 gallon fuel tanks butted up side by side. Using 1 as a water storage and the other as a burn chamber. I would cut out a circle big enough to insert a 55 gallon drum. The drum would be my actual burn chamber with water on all sides. I want to be able to burn wood on occasion but mainly waste motor oil. I have access to thousands of gallons of clean waste oil every year. I want to put a heat exchanger in my existing down draft furnace in my house (2100 sf) and also a heat exchanger in my shop (1000 sf). Is there anything that I should do different because of the waste oil? Thanks I learned a lot from your videos!
Sorry, don't know much about burning waste oil. No experience. But good luck and share your findings. Jeff
Had to have thermostat replaced due to mice. Now furnace seems to keep boiling the water until it evaporated. Have to keep filling it back up every few days.
Sounds like your fan cover is not closing causing it to over heat or you have a air leak some where else. Jeff
