Cant beat the price for decent monitor. Im using it for mostly gaming purposes.

Easy to use. Basic functions.

I purchased one and must say l have no issues at all. Does the job l need it to do. Picture nice and clear.
It's grand for a second monitor to your pc if you dont have enough desk space for a 23inch
It seems from other comments that it (on Mac only maybe) you need to disable HDR to get it to work nice. Not sure what the default is on the Macbook, but apparently the reviewer didn't know this or changed it.

I read a review for a different portable monitor where they experienced washed out colours when connecting a MacBook Pro as well. For them, disabling HDR through the macOS display settings seemed to fix it. Can you try that?

The type C to type C cable that comes with it has stopped working after just 9 months usage. I ordered the same USB Type C cable to Type C cable by Anker, but the monitor didn’t switch on. I even purchased a HDMI mini to mini cable, it still didn’t work. Why is that? I am based in UK 🇬🇧, why do neither cables work?

I saw in another forum where it only supports 1080i over usb c. Try hdmi for 1080p. Let us know.

Wasn't there an option for output resolution from the MacBook? Maybe its not outputting 1080p? Im contemplating buying this but not if the resolution doesn't look like a 1080p display

You need to go in to display settings on your macbook and deselect 'high dynamic range' then it won't be washed out anymore
Also are any settings needing to be changed on the MacBook? Like output resolution for second display or something? I'm looking to buy this but definitely won't if the display doesn't look like it actually is a 1080p display
Bruh please learn how to use color bars to adjust the screen and set the MacBook to optimize display output for the external display so you can properly evaluate the screen.

I have 3 of them. If you would have bothered to look under those bolts in the back, you would have discovered the the monitor is mountable for stands.
I wonder if you would get better results with HDMI?

Honestly how much did you shit me just putting everything up to max settings then whine for 5 mins about a washed out picture. Truly reviewing excellence there. SMH.

I just got the msi optix mag161v and its quite nice. A bit low on brightness but overall good. Only paid £170 👍
