Only time I've heard him mention anything football related was to have a pop at Glenn Hoddle for dropping him from the England squad and to say that the AFTV lot actively want Arsenal to lose all the matches. Seems to be very bitter for someone who was given so much
He was the after dinner speaker at some charity gala that my daughter went to a couple or three months back. Pissed as a twat and made a bit of an embarrassment of himself, apparently.
Its a bit hypocritical these pundits criticise players nowadays considering some of the things they used to get away with but then I suppose that the money players get paid these days is astronomical compared to what these players got when they were playing that's probably why most of them are pundits nowadays?

@@thomasbarnes1498 If you are meaning the double in 98, Wenger got the job in 96, so had already cut out the drinking culture and introduced the sport science, diets and nutrition by then.
The season Arsenal finished 12th in 95/96, perhaps they would have done better if the players were not drinking so much??
