Woo, he got another pos car to run, that will never be finished. Done with this nonsense
Dawg! Did I say I was going to finish this car at any point? I'm guessing the "Will It Run" videos are what brought you here in the first place. So you must be into them. Anwho, good luck in your search for the scratch to your itchiness!
Dude, if you would've really watched the video he plainly says he wasn't gonna finish the car. Early on he talks about the title situation and explains it. SMH.....
No one said you have to watch, if you're ever watched puddin fab get about 5min in it and click on something else especially after he says having a Diarrhea day😅
Did you truly expect a total restoration in a 2 hour video? In the description it clearly says "If you'd like to add this car to your collection it can be purchased for $1800 USD in the condition shown in the video."? Or is whining like a toddler just easier than reading?
You can't finish the car until someone evicts Edna anyway.
Mr. Mortske, If you would Take a tip from an old timer, who learned from an old timer when I was 20, You'll save most of those copper radiators. I used to think I wasn't good at soldering too. Then I was taught the magic. The key is to get the metal clean. I don't mean by spraying brake clean on it. You have to use a wire brush until the area looks like a new penny. If you'll do that, the solder will run into the crack or joint as if by magic. And you will be the solder master that everyone will admire.
One day I'll give it a shot
Yeah preparation.is the key. When you get right it's amazing. Usually I'm in too much of a rush and it doesn't work the first time. But I've heated up radiator necks that were leaking, brush all the surfaces clean, coat it so that the space all the way around is full of flux and it sucks the solder right in. Shiny clean and strategic use of flux. That's it.
Rando Boomer I could not have said it better myself than the advice is so solid it is like getting paid with gold.
I've soldered some but never a radiator. Always copper plumbing. But I'll give it a try next opportunity 1:13:09
Capillary action. The suck zone 😂😂😂
Another great Mortske Monday. Hope Mojo is geeling better. Get well soon Sir Mojo.
😊
And the
A two hour Mortske Marathon! I will have to make a samwich!
From the look on Duff Dog's face at the start of the video, he must be suffering from the Monday Moring Blues Mort. As always, a big thumbs up for reviving a classic American automotive gem.
Thank you!
Great content.
I am 67 yrs old .
Remember these growing.
Always loved the styling ❤
Awesome lift burnout. !!!
Thank you!
R.I.P. To My Dear Friend From The CB Radio Dan Rivera Page, We both loved these Cars.
It’s a shame there isn’t more aftermarket support for these. Super cool car. And the roll out wing windows never fail to make me smile.
Thats one of the reasons that my brother and i havent bought one. The support isnt there. You have to own a slew of cars to get it right. Much less the hours of work thats involved.
Roadhouse!!! Gotta get the radio workin' to crank some Jeff Healey tunes.
Canadian rockstar!
Mortske Day! Nothing better than spending the holiday with Duff and Mortske and a cool Riviera.👍😎💯. And get well soon Mojo!
Yeah baby! 65 Riviera is my favorite! Had a maroon one, 425 4bbl, duals, glass packs dumping in front of the rear tires! Awesome car!
They sure are cool cars!
Thanks for sharing!
I knew a girl in high school she drove a black 65 Rivie GS, gold pinstripe black and gold interior.
A 425 4 BBL. WOW
Mr. Mortske is just the greatest! Much respect ✊
Thank you!
that clip of you getting shocked never gets old.
I laugh hysterically every time the second half of that clip gets shown. Even when I know it’s coming.
You ever been bit? It'll let you know.
@@bobwright992 many times, had an old accel yellow "super coil one time that paralyzed my arm for a few seconds.
@@Hobodeluxe960 Fukin hurts doesn't it? A minimum of 20,000 volts, regardless of the amperage, definitely tells you to let go.
@@Hobodeluxe960 I've been bit wearing rubber gloves and a rubber handle. Wondering how I was the best ground.
Thanks for the pressure washing scene! Lol I'm sure you made that Pott County legend proud!
Our pleasure!
Hope Mojo gets to feeling better, another good video from Morstke and Duff. Look forward to Mondays just to see what yall are getting into.
Duff is a genius mechanic. You can tell because of the way he is.
HEY! Its a Mortske Monday ! Hell yes!!
Bro Mortske.. Am a true Buick fan. Have owned a 63, 72 and 85 Riv. Several skylarks and Lesabres. I really perk up anytime you bring a vintage Buick or Caddy back to life. Am into Caddy professional cars, hearses and limo's. Love the styling and the performance of big engines and big cars. Thanks for all you do and keep the old big GM cars in the front row. I'm now 77 yo and a former GM sales rep so am very acquainted with the big boys. Regards; Bill M.
Thanks for sharing!
Love the Rivera body style, and big block! Tell motorsport until he starts making your payments you'll call it whatever you want. Great content Mortske.
This car came with a rompin' stompin' 360hp and then you washed it, add another 2 3/4 horses and 2 horses for each hubcap. This thing is a beast and one of the best looking cars of the 60s, a gentleman's muscle car. I always loved the look of the Riviera. I had the AMT model kit of this.
Duff's face thinking there was hope for a ride while you were checking the brakes to immediately going back to sleep when the pedal stayed on the floor was hilarious.
I love my Mortske Monday !
Here we go again. It’s time for another good one 👍👍
Get well, Mojo!!! Best wishes for a fast recovery!!
Bunch of years back I passed on a white 65 Riviera in very decent condition, running with a great interior and straight body, because I just had no room for it.nice straight body too. The price,? A whopping $800. I could cry remembering that.
Thanks for sharing!
Tell ya what Mortske ... headers, Cragars, and white letters out are exactly what that girl needs !!! 🤣🤣🤣 We gonna lose the shop with Mojo out sick ... hope he gets well soon 👍
I came here to say that!
Those flexi hoses are a great start to a perfect Mortske build!! 🤩
65 Buicks and 65 t Birds are the best styled cars of the 60s IMO. Thanks for saving these old cars.
I prefer the 61-63 T-bird. But Billy Mitchell's crew had it goin' on at GM. Except for Oldsmobiles 😂.
@@JeffKopis I them too. just not as much .Mother in law had two of them that were red and white. I think what hurt those personal luxury cars were the massive doors that were hard to handle in a parking lot or on a windy day. .
Love them 65 t-bird seats!
The nice thing about a Rivera, the door skins come off real easy to get at the inards! Thank you for My Monday Makeitbearable Marathon! 😆
"I gotta jar of dirt"!! 😂
Chin adding the actual definition of Riviera to the video 😂 he’s the best
Sure is!
My neighbor has one of these restored. Probably my favorite American car.
Get well soon Mojo!! Mortske need you soon as possible, because when he starts using flexi hoses his mind is starting to go cuckoo for Cocoa puffs . I would have loved to seen that 65 Buick Riviera when it was new.
lol
The Riviera was Popular in Las Vegas Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack Loved Them because of beautiful style they had.
I wanted to see if you could get the headlight doors to work. Good video.
Next time!
Get well soon MOJO
One of the most stylish cars to come out of America, and they are literally the coolest headlights to ever be fitted to a car..
Absolutely!
I'm a Ford guy but I will give credit where credit is due, I love the style of this car. It looks like the same one from the Timbaland - Scream..video..
Those lisle pinchers work great & affordable, used them all the time when I worked on cars for a living
Hey Mortske and Duff👋, cool old riviera. Hopefully mojo gets well soon. Thanks for sharing✌️
Love the Rivi 🤜🤛
Giddy up ya ,big fella on the box😮😮😮
Another riviera? Hell yeah
Haha. I love that movie. And the 65 Riviera is my favorite year. I live about 3 miles from where that scene was shot. The bar also was right behind the car lot.
Thanks for sharing!
Those 'switch pitch' converters were pretty cool. Rivieras were great looking cars, especially the early third gen 'boat tails'.
Hell yeah my brother!
Dang, it started even with a flexxy hose 😂
the clam shells make that car almost as cool as the catalina.and almost as cool as the AMC SST you did.thanks for another great monday!!
Another great video, I always look forward to Mortske Monday. I love the car. Thank you again for great video. Have a good week. By the way, my Aunt had one these car, I remember riding it.
Thanks for sharing!
Riviera was so far ahead of their time! Amazing cars.
I recognized the LTD cap as soon as you pulled it out. I still have one hanging on the garage wall. My first car was a 77 LTD - jade green with matching interior. Growing up we had a gold on gold LTD Brougham and I'll never forget the glass-smooth ride on the highways with just the regular thump thump sounds of the wheels going over the expansion joints in the road. I've always wanted to find a two-door with the little glass in the B pillar.
Thanks for sharing!
Good stuff Mortske.
Y’all have a good week stay warm .
A really “Classic” episode today, Mr. Mortske & Duff Dog.
Much appreciation and thanks to you for putting in the time, money, and work, to produce these automotive time capsules. Well Done. Love the Duff!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing the great content with us and for the live. I meant V8 swap when u mentioned mini trucks sorry for any confusion Sir. Hope Mojo gets well soon. Take care Duff chin and Sir !
Accordingly to "Project Farm" testing: regular JB Weld beats all of the specialty JBs everytime.
DUFF looked impressed in the background while you were JB welding the radiator!
I used Brownells AcraGlas Gel to fix an OBS Chebbie radiator inlet (plastic). As far as I know it's still working.
Fantastic video to see I love watching your video's on CZcams give Duff a hug from me Kenneth ❤ take care 💯👍🩷
Tell ole Mojoe to take it easy. His knowledge is priceless. You need him.
Will do
Great video as always hopefully someone has the courage to restore this beaut...u certainly gave it a chance 👍🏼🇨🇦
Hey Morski pal. Found ur channel from Puddin'.. Keep bringing these big old units back to life bro. It's awesome to see them running again after so many years sat about doing nothin'.. Salute to u all from Dublin, IRE..
Thanks! Will do!
Get well Mr Mojo. We'll look for you in the next vid.
Nice revival, love them stacked headlight cars my favourite 👌Thanks for sharing 👍💨💨
Gotta love an old buick. One of my favorite cars. Always enjoy the great content. Keep doing what you do brother.
I don’t know if I can watch this out of envy. 0:28 that’s a sweet rig.
Super satisfying seeing the change after the clean. Liked the classic get it running video. Keep up the good content!
Will do!
Bin watching your channel for some time now and it has helped me alot through some rough times and I really enjoy everything you do
Glad to hear it
Get well soon Mojo! God bless you and your Mrs.! I'm also going to include the rest of the family also, Mr. Mortske and Duff! I'm having health issues and I don't wish it on no one. Glad Mortske is over it and not sick still, I would be heartbroken if you all lost the shop.😊
Hope mojo feels well real soon kind of miss him not being around the shop he doesn't show himself very much but when he does it's cool
Great content again guys! Always a pleasure!!
Feel better soon
Monday Morning Mortske Movie gotta love it
I like the sound of the nailhead. The sunday muffler (holy) despite the leaks sounds good. Thanks for the buick content!
Sweet a coupe with those headlights. Looks like great weather too
Your not wrong! That's a sweet gulf cart;) love the channel keep up the great work!! I get compliments on my base ball tee on the reggs.
Love them Rivieras Thank you for the video
Nice burnout, nice interior and Duff got to go for a ride 😊
Thanks for another , Brother !
Sweet Riv !
And nice burnout 🔥
thanks!
I like the door opener on inside the door
Glad you got the fact checker on The roadhouse cars🏆what an awesome movie 🎬
Loved the burnout in the shop . Laughed out loud . Thank you for the entertainment.
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm beyond jealous. I want one of these so bad. This and the boat tail body styles are my favorite
Love the long video,morsk!
Hope mojo gets well mortske still watching ur video
You know it's tough times when Mortske is putting on flexi hoses instead of just taking them off. Lol
Gotta do what you gotta do!
Mogo hope you're having a lovely day or 3 😁 off Morski was only contagious for 3 days if you really picked up something we're praying for you we're missing you 🙏 ❤️
Great style of car love the front end.
Growing up we had a 1976 Buick Riviera had a 454 or 455 and I can’t remember .
It had a redish, vinyl interior dash and carpet.
Outside gray paint. We had a great times in that
car ! Great memories.
lol Duff is ready to ride 😎
Smoke them tires 👍
Thanks for sharing!
Yes indeed that is a nice sunrise!
I'm not complaining, but it's going to take me all day to finish this video on and off. Enjoying it. That wingnut thing to close the fuel line. I have seen them sold as hood shock stoppers. To keep the hood from falling on your head. Now back to the video. 👍
Nice warm up video for the Daytona 500! Enjoy your work sir.
Great job! This is a well priced start for someone (or at the very least a pretty amazing parts car). I am always happy to see what it takes to bring one back! Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks! 👍
Freaking love it brother!! Keepem coming .
Thank you for another automotive history lesson! LOL! Great show! Thank you. Keep them coming. Pretty soon your property will be full of cool old running cars and trucks!!!
Someday
Love your doggie. Boy that car is nice and sweaty.
Good Afternoon Mr Mortske and Duff from Alabama.
Cool cars! Growing up, my friends dad had a Wild Cat and it would bake the tires off after he left on vacation. Hidden key holder wasn't hard to find....
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for another Mortske Monday guys!🐾🍺
Another episode with a burnout. The smoke was like super thick, mmm smoky. Probably was a nice car when it was parked cause it lighted up like immediately. Probably was a older mans vehicle before got parked. Judging from the literature left inside. I do like this buick model cause these have style and they have bucket seats. I don't know what the other guys issues are but I like more of such content anyday.
She deserves to be brought back 😢
You make mondays great!
Great video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Good afternoon from Cape Cod 🦈 those Riviera's are badass and classy at the same time 👍 actually with minimal effort that car starts up and runs pretty well. Keep up the great work and bring in the awesome content 👍✌️🇺🇲
