Never ever straighten out, weld, solder or glue a broken brake grip. I have a friend that allmost died from it when it broke off again after professional welding. Just dont´t do it!

czcams.com/video/ZGhx-68INIA/video.html he's making zinc chloride and this video shows more. The liquid, to answer your question, is hydrochloric acid. But he's likely using the concentrated type known as muriatic acid. Zinc chloride, can act as a potent flux in soldering. It is made by pouring a small amount of muriatic acid into a glass or acid-resistant container and then adding small pieces of zinc. Don't breath the fumes and remember hydrochloric acid is a dangerous substance. It's corrosive and can cause severe burns if it comes into contact with skin or eyes. It should be handled with extreme care. As for obtaining muriatic acid, i'm going to try the ones at home depot to see how it works. They seem to be more safe or environment-friendly so i don't know if it will work. Getting the real stuff isn't easy for the public. Obtaining the zinc I think everybody understands that part.

I even think that this is really possible to power directly from the battery. He used the core of the battery for the electrodes. The center of the battery is graphite, which gives a high enough resistance that the battery is not short-circuited. It just draws more current.

All these vids that start with "The HIDDEN FUNCTION of " or "The SECRET purpose of", or "Didn't want you to know" etc are all either dangerous, useless, or both. I guess the "Professor didnt tell me" is included in that list.
